The skyline during dusk marks end of day whereas the bustling yatai signal the beginning of nightlife in Tenjin. There were so many restaurants along the streets and alleys, looks interesting to just stroll around there, but the area looks complex like a maze (I lost my sense of direction again ) and I will definitely unable to find my way there or back! lol I had thought there would not be any new videos for some time, hence was so glad to see this video uploaded! Thank you! To be truthful, I am so used to your good standard and style of shooting videos that it is now very hard for me to accept watching others walking videos And had everything went smoothly for your Tokyo trip?
Your comments are really wonderful and add color to my videos and furthermore give me much courage. Thank you for your strong support. The first day in Tokyo was a very difficult ordeal due to an unexpected rain storm. I had to focus on protecting my camera from the rain and wind, which forced me to change my plan to shoot all of the video on the second day, a serious problem with flickering in the footage due to the lack of dealing with the 50Hz and 60Hz power frequency split between the east and west of Japan, the ordeal of figuring out the roads in Tokyo for the first time in 8 years, and my own frustration that I could not get a satisfactory video. The frustration of not being able to capture images that I was satisfied with was a valuable experience, as well as the many failures that would become the basis for the next success. The three days were like a microcosm of my life, where I had to figure out how to interpret the weather, unexpected problems with the machines, good or bad timing, and other adversities. Currently, I am working on editing to reduce the flicker phenomenon. I can't go back to the past, so I won't give up and will try to solve the problems I can now. Your high evaluation of my video motivates me and gives me the opportunity to try again. The power of the words of those who are on my side is amazing.
@@FUKUOKAWALKER.KyushuJapan It was such an eventful 3days! This is the first time I have heard of a country power running on 2 frequencies, I have gained new knowledge. Hope you can resolve the techical glitches as much as possible. All these issues encountered will definitely help you to achieve better results in your future attempt. And amidst all these unforeseen challenges, the greatest success was you had bravely stepped out of your comfort zone!
The power frequency in western Japan, such as Fukuoka and Osaka, is 60 Hz, while in eastern Japan, such as Tokyo, it is 50 Hz. This is due to the fact that when Japan started its electric utility business, generators were imported from the U.S.A in western Japan and from Germany in eastern Japan. Is there one unified power frequency in Singapore? And I had flicker phenomenon even though I had corrected the equipment setting to 50 Hz beforehand. And after trying various correction methods and making many failures, I purchased the paid version of da Vinci Resolve and am now waiting for it to arrive. This flicker failure helped me to leave my comfort zone in terms of editing software. I'm out of my comfort zone both in terms of shooting locations and filmmaking methods. I believe that one must always be challenged. Comfort zones are comfortable and it is safe and instinctively right to stay in them. But for me, it is the same as death. I will never give up. Thank you for your one word, comfort zone, for reminding me of that. It has been an expensive investment in every respect, but I am convinced that only those who take such risks deserve a return, even when the future is uncertain. I am proud that with the support of you and my other valued supporters I have been able to take on this challenge.
@@FUKUOKAWALKER.KyushuJapan Singapore is a very small country and our electricity only run at 220v 50Hz. Whenever I travel, I only take note of the country's voltage and never their frequency. This has now raised my awareness. Since Kyushu power is running at higher frequency than Singapore, I am relieved that my mobile phone was intact when I went Kyushu as well as Hokkaido ( few years ago)! I am confident that all your efforts will not be in vain!
I just checked and found that the voltage in Japan is 100V, which seems to be quite weak. On the contrary, Singapore's 220V is more than twice as strong voltage as Japan's and I thought it is necessary for Japanese to be careful. And I think your perception is correct. Because many of today's electrical appliances automatically adjust their frequency, but it is more important to pay attention to the voltage because it may affect the machine if the voltage is too strong. You have good risk management skills as well. Thank you, you have made me more aware of them too. And I also noticed that you are quite a Japan travel specialist, having traveled to both Hokkaido and Kyushu. I also appreciate the perspective you provide on Japan from a foreign country based on your perceptions and it gives me the opportunity to learn from you.
Merci beaucoup pour cette très belle promenade ! ✨💙🗾
