I think I have an idea on how chrysalis could’ve won. Chrysalis would get rid of shining armor, continue to show ‘ ‘ Love ‘ ‘ most likely fake love probably without force if her partner truly loved shining, and show the fake sibling love towards twilight. Then she would have pretty much everybody wrapped around her finger(hoof?)
