As a Korean, it’s not really fair comparing a big airline to a small airline
Advantage of Korean Air is that if you are flying from Clark🇵🇭 and Cebu🇵🇭 towards JFK, SFO ORD,LAX 🇺🇸 you can actually avoid flying to MNL from those places then SFO,JFK & LAX on PR🇵🇭 that's by going by Incheon Airport🇰🇷 . Entertainment option wise Korean Air has Kpop and Kdrama loaded.

Lol, PAL had more incidents because it is way older and has been around since 1946 and most of PAL crashes involved older propeller-driven aircraft and happened before the 1990s. Since the 1990s PAL only had 4 serious incidents with only 12 total fatalities/deaths. The most fatal PAL crash was in 1987 with 50 deaths. In comparison KAL in the 80s and 90s had deadly crashes with hundreds of fatalities. If u compare the number of fatalities between these 2 airlines, KAL had much more fatalities than PAL even though it started operations only in the 60s while PAL began way earlier in the 40s. So it is not fair to say KAL wins in this round!😒😠

Agree, especially the number of accidents/incidents. PAL had more because its a much older airline since the 1940s plus the fatalities/deaths in PAL crashes are much much less. KAL had more fatal crashes with way more fatalities. Instead of number of accidents/incidents it should be changed to no. of fatalities from accidents😒

The korean flight attendants avoid paying too much attention to some passengers who speak English because doing so will make them feel intimidated. They offer nothing in terms of service when compared to Philippine Airlines, which offers the best service because the cabin crew never discriminates against or selects passengers who will only provide good service.

I would pick Korean Air every time! PAL gave me the worst airline experience of my life, complete with emergency landing. Then over the course of many months and tons of effort to communicate on my part, they pretended that they had refunded my money on various dates. I never got a dime. I can't tell if they are incompetent, or thieves. But it doesn't make much difference to me, I'm out thousands of dollars. All I got from PAL was frustration. Honorable mention goes to CHASE BANK that did not adequately assist me in recovering my money.
