They also dog walked the Lions in the second half of the season and beat them from start to finish. Packers should be favorites as they should be over the Lions. They beat them without Jones too.
GB is legit, blowing out DAL on the road, losing to SF on the road at the very end while DET barely beat LA at home & losing to SF on the road at the sum what very end in the Playoffs.

As a packers fan, i really respect the lions and how good they are. They have playmakers all over the field and were one bad half away from the Super Bowl. That being said, I feel like the Packers have a much higher ceiling. They played just as good as the lions for the second half of the season, and they are so young. The question is, will the Packers make the jump or will the Lions retain control of the division?

They played vastly better than the Lions did in the second half. This is y they beat the shite out of the Lions in the second half at Detoilet. Also GB beat a fully healthy KC team at home easily. So essentially if the refs don't gift SF 2 TD's and rob GB of one TD then GB blows out SF and has a cake walk to another SB in Loves first year as they'd play 2 teams they easily defeated in the second half of the season.

I love that the NFC North is going to be a relevant division again this year. And as a Packer's fan I absolutely love how underrated the majority of the national media continues to look at what the Packers did last year. The fact that it took a "rookie" QB a half season to find his groove but then went and outplayed every other QB in the league for the 2nd half of the year should have the whole league terrified. But they are all mostly still skeptical, which is just fine. If Love stays healthy he will be a top 3 QB with ease and far outplay Goff or anybody else the Bears or Vikings throw on the field. After this season this young team will no longer be flying under anybody's radar!
Stopping by as a packer fan and no bullshit, i LOVE the lions finally being legit just like i wanna see the bears be legit too. Its been YEARS since either team has given any kind of challenge to GB so im loving this. Make no mistake, having a solid division and playing twice a year against a SB contender or a playoff contending team only helps whoever wins the division. I can see this season going either way for both GB and the Lions. Who knows? Maybe the bears will surprise us all. Cant wait to see

It's not even close, GB is the vastly superior team noq. They upgraded their D coordinator, acqured the best Safety in the NFL, acquired the best RB in the NFL, drafted the best RB, LB, and S in the draft this year, upgraded the RB and C positions in the draft. Lions still have the same trash DC, qorst LB group in the NFL, average below average CB's, no pass rush outside of Hutch and one trash safety. Also, on offense the Lions have one legit receiver and the rest are scrubs/unproven.

The Lions are the best team in the North but I do have a healthy fear of Green Bay because Love is the real deal.
It should be a fun NFC North season and the Lions should be favored to win….on paper. Haha. Injuries and off season improvements can often swing the a teams final record.
Biggest issue I have with this is Elgkton Jenkins is a better lineman than everyone on the lions. He’s elite at every oline position
Two really good rosters. Both fanbases have some valid arguments. Lions will say they have the more experienced QB. Packers will say Jordan Love has higher upside. Lions say St Brown is best WR but Packers have 5 WR that make up the better WR room. LaPorta dominated as a rookie TE but Packers have Musgrave & Kraft. Too many mouths to feed in Green Bay for their offensive weapons to get enough targets to match the stats of St Brown/LaPorta. Both teams have top RB groups. Both have good OL but Lions have advantage now although they're an older group while Packers are young.
Aidan Hutchinson is the best pass rusher for either team but Marcus Davenport wouldn't be in top 3 on Packers. It'll be interesting to see if Packers new DC can finally get them playing up to their potential with a group that projects to field starters with a 1st or 2nd round pedigree at 10 out of the 11 positions. Lions D plays hard and they did well reinforcing the CB room. DJ Reader could make a big impact but injuries are concerning. Both playoff caliber teams. Lions may hold advantage in star power while Packers may hold advantage in depth.

@tremat3685 Packers are better at every group and coach (HC, DC, SPT's) Outside of TE, OL and K. GB has the better QB, RB's, receivers, LB's, S's, CB's, etc. Lions have the best OL in the league and elite at run stopping which makes them competitive.
Jordan love was 1st or 2nd best in every qb metric the 2nd half of the season, 21 td 1 int yet not at same level as Goff? Wasn’t last year the first winning record for the lions in like 20 years yet these jokers are talking like the lions are filled with perennial pro bowlers. Clown show
