- This area of Sunny Beach has really only opened today Wednesday1st June, nice to see so many familiar places open again after a couple of years have passed. Met some great staff today as well who gave a warm welcome after a long break. Its good to be able to get to some of my old haunts again in the evening and a bit more choice has appeared. No people about as I suspect most think this part of resort isn't running yet as I did when I started out walking. First land train went past with a few tourists on, great to see.

I used to be like that, retired and moved here don't have to leave.
We have been at the Meridian Hotel since yesterday and if you had walked this route today we would certainly have met, because we have already been to the IGLIKA with our friend Tania in the Azzuro restaurant, I think we will definitely meet up for a beer in the next 3 weeks :-)
Will be about, was up there last night briefly. Taking wife out Monday night as she will be flying back tomorrow will end up in Iglika for sure. We might be eating at the Astra another of the best places , on market street opposite bus station well worth checking out.,Thanks for the comment and watching Ulrike

Are you able to use the pool at Azurro Hotel if you're eating in the restaurant, do you know? Great videos! We're back in August, staying at Laguna Park again. Can't wait!
Unfortunately not, its the Hotel pool, they rent the restaurant but it had a for sale sign up for two years but the original people have taken it back on which is good. There are a few places you can use the pool but I dont like being in the water much so not sure which ones. Iglika was full of Laguna Park guests again last couple of nights, good to see that again.
Is it possible for you to do a video around the royal sun apartments have a look at the 3 pools as we are due to stay there in August
Its gated entry with fobs so couldn't get in, but that's great for you like our apartment. They are very well maintained and have best reputation.
Any chance you could do a walk past Iskar hotel for me at some point please? Really struggling to get my bearings as to where it is in relation to everything else: would really appreciate it! Love your videos!
Will have a look try show you where it is, I know its fairly central and not far from where filming this today.
On the walk the Iskar is to the rear of the Marbella which I mention. , basically I walk past its grounds on this blog. Your 10 minutes from the Iglika bar and about 5 from the cocktail bar I show. Its a great area as several good value places. I had dinner last at the Azzurro the restaurant I got excited about, great food, lovely staff and I got to do Bulgarian dancing with some ladies out for the night. A great location for a hotel but it has a fair bit of ground to it so should be quiet at night.
How long are you staying? We are coming 11 of July.. family with 3 kids
We actually live here now so a fair while as just bought our house out of Sunny Beach . We have an apartment in middle of the resort for nights out.
