I can’t imagine trying to “coach” a college basketball team in this generation…
How you get “buy in” or get them to sacrifice/play selfless for the greater good of the team is beyond me???
They don’t even believe a coach who tells them they “must be able to play defense to make it to NBA”…
if you need proof, just look at average score of an NBA game.
They give up well over 100 points each night and typically only guard the last 2 min of any game.
All Star game literally scored over 200 points per team.
I get that it’s exhibition, but they used to have pride in performance all the way around, now it’s just a “show/shoot around”
    Anyway, GOOD LUCK COACH OATS!
    We appreciate your effort!
