Most people DO NOT bake their own bread and rolls. To see those beautiful rolls being hand made IS unusual for many people not living in a rural area. To scrape dried herbs from a plant hanging in a kitchen is something else that is not common. Bottling vegetables and salting meats is something that we do not see. Everything we eat we buy at the supermarket. We will make our own hamburgers, but we go to the market where the meat is already ground. Maria has a lot of fortitude. Look at how nicely she keeps everything - so clean. I admire her adherence to cleanliness and living a natural life. It's wonderful.

I was fascinated to see the similarities in construction of the cabins, The style locking the logs is very similar to what I am use to seeing in the Appalachian Mountains.
