    For the center football you can hot glue on pipe cleaner on the under side of each end tie it to the wreath. Love what you do, thanks for sharing.

    BEST tutorial EVER and I watch sooo many in order to learn. You gave so many tips and did not stop every second to say “hellos”, which wastes sooooooo much time. We didn’t have to watch you cut mesh or ribbons and didn’t have to listen about your side business. Your wreath was gorgeous . Can you teach all these other also wonderful teachers, not to waste so much time. I hope I can see more of your videos. I don’t know how to find you. Please let me know

    I made my first deco mesh wreath this fall. I like this method with the bigger ruffle cuts MUCH better because there's less unraveling of the mesh. I think I would just add some "filler" mesh before the ruffles to hide the frame.
    Thanks again for all the great videos!

    Lori, this wreath is absolutely gorgeous!!! And I must admit that's extremely hard for me to admit. I was born and raised here in AL, and im a proud auburn fan! Lol football rivalry aside though, this truly is beautiful. I believe its actually the best wreath I've seen in a tutorial video, in my opinion anyway. Thank you for your awesome video, straight to the point, easy to follow and understand, and great tips.... I'm just starting to try making the wreaths myself... Personally I have a HUGE problem trying to "scrunch" my mesh, for the lack of a better word to use. Anyway when I'm trying to pull it together for the life of me I cant get it to stay straight. Ive tried different brands and textures. Could you PLEASE help me out? I would be extremely grateful! Any other biginer tips would also be more than appreciated! Thanks again for all your time you out into your videos, they really are great! 😍 #auburnfan4life 😂

    I was looking for a video to make an Alabama wreath. Most of the instructors spend a lot of time introducing themselves, show the same step repeatedly, and it takes forever to get to the "meat" of the matter. You did a fabulous job instructing with the assumption that if the viewer has seen you make a few of the steps, they really don't have to see you make the other 128 million! Yay!!! Great job! Just subscribed! :-)

    Hi Lori!!! Love the wreath!!! Those colors are very rich looking. You did an amazing job once again. I have made these ruffle wreaths in the 30 inch length. I absolutely love them cause they cover the wreath forms really good. I just made my own with chenille stems. I have them all over my house. Lol. My kids come over and they're like wreaths everywhere. Lol. I made them quite a few also and they love them too. Lol my daughter just informed me last night she would like another one she could leave up in between seasons. So I will work on that soon. I finally started the baseball wreath yesterday. Its almost done. Had my hubby drill holes in three baseballs today. They should look really nice I think. Well I talked your head off enough tonight. Have a great week and I will forward to your Thursday video.

I donate a lot of them so that helps some. I do like this wreath method. Have a great week. Talk to you soon.

    One important thing I've noticed that crafters don't include in their video, is how many pipe cleaners to attach to their forms. As this is the foundation for fullness and final look, time should be spent teaching how many there should be and where to place them on any given wreath form. It's easier to start with a good foundation instead of having to fill in later. I've had "see throughs" and after all that work, hated having to go back to fix it, plus it disturbs the continuity of the flow of the mesh. Also, the length of each puff should be discussed. I know it's trial and error, but a lesson in the initial foundation is important to your final product and helps save time. Looking forward to seeing your video with this info.

      @craftingwithhwm  5 лет назад

      Hello Sharon! Yes I agree with you on that which is why I always provide that information in the video and also in the description box with my newer videos. This video is a few years old but I wanted to make sure my viewers could always find the info in the description box and made that change. I apologize if you missed it. I appreciate you watching. Thank you, Lori.

    Great tutorial. Loved the wreath (but I'm partial to TX Lonnghorns🥰). Wish you'd show the completed wreath so we could see how it looked with the hat & Tide ball attached. Also agree with other comments because you make judicious use of everyone's time & omit the extraneous or repetitive "stuff" we don't need to hear or see. Looking forward to your next YT.

    • @craftingwithhwm
      @craftingwithhwm  5 лет назад

      Hello and welcome, there Becky. You may hide them leave them or even curl them. It is okay to leave them out it gives the wreath also an extra look. Yes, you may also tuck them into the back. Don't forget to like and share. Thank you, Lori.

    I saw your video and I'm inspired to make my first wreath...😶 I have an 18 inch black working wreath and I am hoping you could help me out with what size of deco mesh I should use and also what size of ribbon to use to make it look fuller. Thank you so much!!!

    • @craftingwithhwm
      @craftingwithhwm  7 лет назад +4

      I am so glad it inspired you. If you want to do ruffles cut them at 30in to put around the form. I would use 2.5 in ribbon cut at 14in. That will look very pretty and full

    I’m from Alabama so I’m a HUGE Alabama fan and I absolutely LOVE your wreath!! Thank you for the wonderful tutorial on how to make this but I have one question. When you put a black ribbon on the bottom you put a maroon one above it on the top correct or is it the same colors on both top and bottom?? It was KINDOF hard to see lol. But either way it’s beautiful I just want to be sure so I can attempt to make one like yours. Thanks ❤🙂

    • @craftingwithhwm
      @craftingwithhwm  2 года назад

      Hi Katie! I’m so glad you love the wreath and appreciate your kind words. When I do my ribbon tails, I use 4 different ribbons and then alternate them. I just pair two ribbon tails together and then do every other tie with the pairs so it is the same with the top and bottom. I would love to see pictures of your wreath and have a free craft group on Facebook called “Hard Working Moms Everyday Craft Dreamers.” Thank you for watching and have a great day. Lori

    i really love those colors. if you spray with acrylic clear paint, do you spray after completing everything or just the mesh and not the adornments and ribbon? seems to me it would make the ribbons hard. thanks

    Beautifully done! I am new at this but was wondering how you attached the pipe cleaners to the wreath before you started? Look like some kind of metal piece but couldn't make out what it was. Any tips on that part would be very beneficial, thank you! 😊

    • @craftingwithhwm
      @craftingwithhwm  7 лет назад +1

      I believe this is one of the wreaths that comes with the ties called a work wreath. You can attach the pipe cleaners by just twisting around the base then bend the pipe cleaner over to see where to put the next one. I know i showed this process. I think it might have been the wreath with the lemon design. I hope that helps

    Very nice tutorial. I believe you used a large frame. If you use a 14" frame how many bunches would you use per section. I know you use 30" on bottom and 20" on top.

    • @craftingwithhwm
      @craftingwithhwm  4 года назад

      Hello Sandra! My work wreath frame was about 15” so you would use the same exact measurements for a 14” frame. If you’re making your own frame, you put 10 ties on the bottom and 8 ties on the top and space them out 4” apart. I hope that helps. Thank you, Lori.

    Im curious im using a 14.25 wreath form and using yellow and black (steelers) 10in mesh. Since i do have screen door, i dont want my wreath squashed between the two. Do you think 20" cuts for bottom and 10" for inner would still look full enough or even 15" and 7.5" cuts maybe keep it from getting as squashed as 30" nd 20"?? Or any suggestions?? TFS!!

    It was quick and to-the-point not a lot of talking to viewers perhaps maybe you should do two different tutorials one for the people who like you interacting with them and one where you can just get straight to the point of making the wreath, to those who just want to learn how to make the wreaths
    (And I don't mean harm I love all of your work) 😍
