I thought you were saying you were 9 seconds into this year and I was so confused. Was trying to figure out whether to wish you a Happy New Year or a Happy (literal) Birthday
Ah, I think the reason for her duolingo giving her wrongs at audios, Is because it was picking up her background music. If you look closely, you can see it moving according to the music when she's not speaking.
@@1stCallipostleso, i slightly disagree. German is easier for an Engine speaker to learn than a korean speaker. Some languages are part of a family of languages. English is a Germanic language, Japanese is a language isolate, so there are no languages similar, derivative, or otherwise.
It’s so stupid that duolingo forces you to add in honorifics when you translate an English sentence into Japanese. It would be one thing if it said “mr Tom” but it doesn’t, it’s just “Tom”.
This. Duolingo is okay for a bit of practice on the side, but you will never learn a language from it. It is way too robotic to teach language (which is a living, context dependent thing).
I think the issue is that she also switched the order of the sports. But yeah, duolingo can be really finicky sometimes, and it's probably better not to use it as your main learning method.
I fell really bad for the girls when they try the microphone questions If I encountered a Japanese person who said the phrases like that, I would have no problem understanding You on the list, Duo Lingo Fr fr, keeping an eye on you 💢
@@DinnerForkTongueEnglish is insane phonetically. So many single syllable sounds that we don't have an accurate count of them, and many of them have different spellings for the same sound.
i feel like the microphone questions are ENTIRELY a test of whether or not your mic settings are set up well for the stupid program to hear you. it either Doesn't Work or it will accept any pronunciation that's about the right length... it's good to encourage people to speak the target language but it shouldn't be trying to judge it with an automated process.
Don't know if it is still true, but when I started Duolingo 2 years ago the speaking exercises only worked in Chrome, and not in other browsers. Since it wasn't picking up anything, it does make me wonder if it was a browser issue for her.
To give people some assurance, it ABSOLUTELY was the browser/app settings at fault. Duolingo is very forgiving on the speaking portion, almost to a fault -- when you make even one remotely similar sound to something in the question, it will highlight a word in blue. And I do mean, ANY remotely similar sound. However, in Ayame's case (and in many other streamers' cases) it didn't highlight any words at all, indicating that it simply couldn't hear her. It's actually impossible for someone to not get at least one blue highlight in the question, so long as Duolingo is set up to hear them and they are trying to speak correctly. I've even seen Duolingo think that a person's microphone static was a correct word, and made a blue highlight before the streamer even started speaking.
Ayame says sentence correctly or damned close and duolingo can't comprehend. Duolingo also frustrated with its own tech capabilities... 4:18 "pain"......
how the hell is it possible for someone to be this freaking cute like omg
Possibly the best video i'ev seen all year and i'm only 9 seconds in. Ayame gets so few clips for how adorable she is. This is a masterpiece
few? all clips about her is about how adorable she is even when it wasn't the intention of the clippers
I meant that she doesnt get many clips compared to other talents, poor wording mb@@yodaiam9305
@@yodaiam9305 that's the point, not enough☝🏿
tbf, ayame has very few streams also.. though its very few, all of her streams is filled with best experience and nakirium

My Nakirium batteries have been recharged! TSKR for sleepy Ojou-san!

Excuse me, I need to set up this video to repeat for 10 hours
No, I don't need a 10 hour version, I'll just give you the views, thanks!
Thank you so much for clipping Ojou!
Nakirium recharged for a next week, thank you!
Watching this just affirms in my mind how difficult English actually is and how cute Ayame is speaking it
There's no such thing as an easy language.
Though admittedly some like Indonesian would be easy if it wasn't so dialect dependant

rarely do translators make highlights these days instead of clips. great work man keep it up
"Japanese is also really hard actually!"
Miko: And I felt that.
4:11 - 4:18 * Ayame laughs * "Pain"

It's unfortunate too, because if they went for, say, Spanish, they wouldn't have nearly as much trouble. English is so wack phonetically.

You know your stuff, VTuberBits.
How?
Requiring the -san is so mean when they're translating English to Japanese. At least have the English say *Mr.* Tom or something.
no wonder she wouldn't do korean considering what she's called ina (in person) on several occasions

Put stream date in video.
No other complaints, nakirium is nakirium.
