. 6-October , Application submitted online
. 12-October, receive mail of 8 digit activation code for App activation.
. 12-October, receive mail of sort code & account number
. 13-October, receive letter of containing 8 digit app activation code.
. 17-October, receive debit card of #both banks
#BRP card is must required to open both of the account.

U probably received ma email , there's a link in the mail try to open that link where u can upload documents,

Bro how long does it take to get the confirmation email after online uploading of documents. For me it's been 7 days since i uploaded and submitted everything. Till now I have not received the confirmation email. Should I got to the branch to enquire or will I receive it soon ?
It usually takes 1 to 2 weeks , wait for this week, hopefully you'll get the mail.

My brp vaild December 2024 but my visa will be 5 year now what i put 2024 or 2028
Your visa date , BRP is going to discontinue from December 2024, so write your visa expire date, as they can check your status online through your share code as well.
I have received the card but not the activation code and the PIN letter .it's been one and half month. i registered a complaint but no response after that. should i visit the branch ?I have been using apple pay since then.
It's strange, u got the debit card but not app activation code and debit card pin letter, u need to call ASAP to bank helpline number and check with them, there should something missing, may u have a problem with your address. ..

U r right, sometime app scanner doesn't pick brp ,try again after some time and if still doesn't work, then u may have to visit branch to verify ur proof of identity or proof of address.

You have to try again, and try with other phone, and even then it's not working then you have to take your Right to live and Right to work documents (BRP + address proof )to any nearest bank branch bro,

U gonna receive another letter, on which your activation pin is going to be mentioned, usually Internet banking activation code letter arrives earlier, than your ATM pin code, so wait a bit hopefully u gonna receive next week.

, If it is, than it's not mandatory to sign back of your debit card, it's just to ensure that's it's your card not someone else.

Memorable , ma apna name yha koi be password etc type karna hay, in case if you forget your main app password, u need this memorable password to type.

If u don't have BRP card than (uk) passport or uk provisional driving license is used to open bank account.

Don't try to switch account, make a new account in Lloyd's or Halifax.
Mene kitni bari try kar lia aur correct info daal rha lekin jab switch bank wala option ata ha mera ans no hota ha continue krun tou ajata ha it looks like something wrong ye kia issue ha

Yr mai Pakistan mai rehta hn. Par meri Payment ati hai Amazon se vaise tu Payoneer use kar ra tha US k liye.. but ab mujhe UK se bhi received krni hai payment MashaAllah se. But payoneer BIC or IBAN details provide nh karta. So mai kia Pakistan mai rehete hue Koi UK ka account open kar sakta hun?

you we need proof of address ? or BRP is good enough!
BRP is your proof of identity, u need proof of address separate, if u don't have anything u can use like you National insurance number page where your address is mentioned.
How to open joint account
i think , the join account option comes during the application, try to fill the application and check, i think u can open joint current account as well.

U get 2 codes,
1 is for app activation
And
2nd code is for your debit card,

U don't have to do anything, u can use your debit card straight away like for shopping and bus and train terminals,

There's no any document as proof of address is required,

One just has to write the valid home /flat address so bank can send u a debit card and monthly statements.

As students, we have #BRP card as our identity check,
On work visa, i guess u also going to have some sort of card as identity check, or u can try with your home #Passport or u can apply uk #Provisional licence and than u can open any bank account on the basis of uk Provisional licence .

@tinuantu1395 hi, i just checked, when u open your Lloyd's app, click on the amount, new page will open, now click on the (i) button on the top left corner, and then click share bank details, , under share bank details u will find your both local as well as IBAN numbers.

The letter u receive from bank (Lloyd's or Halifax) with your name, is going to be your proof of address in future.

So to open this classic current account of Lloyd's and Halifax, u don't need have proof of address already.
