I'd be careful with going with too large a core. That can introduce a lot of unwanted lag. The Mishimoto Intercooler for the FK8 for example caused a lot of turbo lag. Moving to the PRL helped alleviate this. Also a super heavy intercooler in the front of the car will not help with understeer.
Lemme tell that Mishimoto is for the roll racers out there. 390whp 409 wtq on on some Wawa 93. No over heating every, and handed out gap insurance. Miss those days
