The POV channel - TODAY you have gifted me something that is impossible to put a price on ! 27 years ago when I was leaving from an amazing time in the Jackson hole area, as I drove toward Rock Springs, I 'promised myself another trip to the area to explore the Bridger park area' - but I never made it back. I turned 80 in Feb . 2024 . You fulfilled a dream, with your video skills, hiking style with you companion dog, your skill with the drone videos, sharing the realities of camping in the wilderness and the haunting selection of musical background. The "gray shades of the granite" in that area is akin to the gray shades that the interior decorators are using currently ! It reminds me of Winnie-the-Poo ..."The PAST is history, the FUTURE is a mystery and the PRESENT is a GIFT !" SPECTACULAR ! EXTRAORDINARY ! MYSTICAL !!! THHANK YOU. Blessings, Grace and Shalom to you, your brother and your hiking companion.🙏🙏🙏 X1,000 ❤❤❤
Hi there. Just enjoying your videos. I live in Calgary, Alberta Canada. 1 hour from Canadian Rockies. Looks very much the same as Wyoming. Enjoyed my whole life hiking those Canadian Rockies.Keep up the great videos.
Awesome! You are so blessed to have such a great dog! Love your spirit, and your videos, hard and it really pays off thru the lens! Take care, talented boy!
Found you a couple months ago. Absolutely stunning scenery everywhere you go. You're an excellent drone operator. Really appreciate your long drone explorations. Your pup is so precious!
I only ever heard of God's continental divide ~ God's imagination & creation's are amazingly breathtaking & spectacular to behold, even through your eye's ❤ Thank you for taking us along with you, your epic companion & your brother on this exploration❣️ I just found your channel & have viewed a few of your awesome video's. Great editing & Congrats on 100K. You truly deserve way more... Enjoy & Stay Safe out there on your surfing excursions & new adventures❣️
I love this video. This to me is one of THE most important places to hike. Never seen a video like this. I love it. Thanks so much for sharing. BTW, scented soap, bar soap, keeps mosquitos and flies off.😊
Thank you! Funny human psychology. It is mine. This is my great and beautiful country. For tens of thousands of years, the Indians of the local tribes thought the same way. Greatness and beauty remain, only the insects inhabiting them change. This is not a negative, it is a personal understanding of the role of man in history.
@@the_pov_channel Thanks again for the wonderful video. I live in Moscow, Russia, but for eight years I lived and worked in California and traveled in my free time to California, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, Colorado, Oregon. Your film reminded me of the wonderful trails of the Sierra Nevada. I hope that in the coming years the confrontation between the United States and Russia will settle down and you will be able to visit Russia. There are also a lot of amazing places here. Best wishes!
I love the Wind Rivers. That hike is beyond my ability, but my friend made that hike last summer as well, and ended at Green River Lakes, which is a beautiful place to visit. Thanks for the great video, and for visiting our great state.
Love IT. Awesome views best picture in the world to have at your feet. Great stuff guys keep up the great adventure's. Cheers from Blissfield New Brunswick Canada ❄️
I explored this beautiful wind river range for a month and it was by far the most remote and beautiful place I’ve been!! I love that you went and explored here!!
your channel was recommended to me and I absolutely love it! when the music was playing, I can’t lie, I started crying because everything was so perfectly lovely in every way…!! Even underwater photography, dang your spoiling us, Many Thanks!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌎
@@the_pov_channel Your channel is the next best thing to me vs. actually getting out there I live at 4000 feet, so it’s still snowy and cold in Eastern Oregon…
So fun and such an adventure! I live at 10k ft altitude in the Rockies! Any direction out my door is an adventure waiting to be had! Awesome channel and great adventures! Keep it up bud!
That's freedom or that's pure beauty and quality of life, you don't miss the city and the industry, the work, the school, that's what life could be like all the time for some at least some are born to live in nature
The northern gate post of the cirque of the towers is Lizard Head. My friends & I climbed it in the mid 1970s. We hiked in via Bears Ears and sometimes hiked out via the trail that goes down the Popo Agie (river that drains the lake in the center of the cirque). One of the best places in the world to hike and climb because there is great granite, amazing scenery and mostly no people. Do you have a drone footage of the east and north sides of Lizard Head? Nice video!
Those hole created from ice age floods with 100 to 200 feet of water from huge lakes that ice dams gave way. Big Rock would get trapped and water forced rock around, and round creating these holes . There are several examples of this but these are the largest I have seen. very cool thank for the video
incredible vids, i gather from another vid your channel is blooming lately, very well deserved. ps. did you know google earth has a flight sim built in?
Your videos are part of the best of what RUclips should be about. I do, however, find the music distracting. Something more ambient or literally the ambient sounds captured by your camera would be better I think. Keep up the great work and stay safe mate.
Am new to watching your channel...love the drone footage, the beautiful scenery and your adventurous spirit (and respect for everything you encounter). Wondering how you like traveling to these sites in your Honda Element?
Love the element. Perfect adventure car. Iv done my best to beat it up and it’s hung in there quite well (besides from the engine exploding that one time)
I hope you took fishin poles. you could have caught your dinner and breakfast. im sure theres at least trout, maybe bass and bluegill in that lake if its under 5000ft or so
@@the_pov_channel yeah what tripped me out is you did not hear a single sound. But then again there ain't nothing for them to eat as far as deer and stuff. In your videos yeah I did not hear anything which is usually a sign somethings around. If your pooch starts acting weird then yeah and I hope you are armed going out there just simply for mountain lions and stuff or whatever they got. I heard if you get the hundred-dollar bear mace it's really worth it
Look on google earth at the san andreas fault line its a giant worm creature and there's weird creatures all around it and in the mountains around that area there was a pyramid someplace I just can't remember where it was at u could tell its been covered up by piles of dirt they dumped on it had to have taken years to do by helicopter or something
How long a time did you take to explore this awesome scenery of the Rockies? My friend, Dennis and 4 friends, walked the ridge of the Continental Divide. They started in Wyoming and ended in Trinidad😊, Colorado. It took them 2 months, as they took their time hiking those dangerous peaks. This is stunning. Thank you for allowing me to live vicariously through you!❤😊

Yay I got so excited when I saw your vid notification 👍
Thank you for the adventure, a truly majestic place. The artifacts are real🙏👣
This is so beautiful.
Reminds me a tiny little bit of the Dolomites here in Europe.
Dolomiti!! I have seen a small sliver of them. Astounding beauty

I grew up in Riverton Wyoming back in the 60s & 70s. And one thing about the winds is that they are high enough to make their own weather 😊
Iv heard crazy stories about that
And I love your dog

Great video 🎉
One of my favorite places in the world, hands down. I’ve crossed the continental divide in that mountain range more than anywhere else!
Haha awesome. Lucky you
Epic, incredible. 13:12 my fav part 😁

Your dog must love you! My American Water Spaniel used to love hiking over rock. Sadly she's gone to doggie heaven 8 years now.
She’s out there hiking somewhere
Pov channel bro you gotta post more homie I already watched all your outdoor videos the last 2 days
Haha im trying friend. Thanks for the support. Way more headed your way

incredible vids, i gather from another vid your channel is blooming lately, very well deserved. ps. did you know google earth has a flight sim built in?
pps. if you use a an nd filter on your drone it will lower shutterspeed and remove the slight jello from footage.

So glad I found your videos. I love hiking the central coast of California. So many nice hikes here.
You make me miss my Honda element. Mine was puke orange tho
Such a fun car. I truly love mine. That rust orange color is questionable definitely haha but I still love those
I hope you took fishin poles. you could have caught your dinner and breakfast. im sure theres at least trout, maybe bass and bluegill in that lake if its under 5000ft or so
Its not under 5000 and its trout only
Most people do that clockwise, yall went counter clockwise
They also have a way of making you feel very small 😂
I wonder if there's Sasquatch and dogmen up in there it looks remote AF
If they were gonna be anywhere, it would be here. Or Idaho 🤷♂
