For people asking, the reason the battery is relocated to the rear is because the factory location of the battery is very close to the intake and it basically touches the hood and is also an extreme fire hazard. Most of these cars burned down and that’s why they’re so rare nowadays
The srt4 neon was cool came out but now its even more cooler because they are getting harder to find stock and are pretty fast for a 4cylinder engine putting 220hp stock
Hmm tbh that batter being in the back can also indicate this car was beat down and abused in racing. Must of had a fuel cell. Right where the spare tire sits. Most of the times I see the fuel cell conversions when they run on e85

Battery was probably left over from the sound system
Battery is in trunk cause engine bay is to small I did same to mine and motor trans are worth the save. It’s probably long gone by now
