Great songwriting helps too! Imo the brilliance of the band makes him shine like any great drummer! It's a beautiful recursive thing! Band writes bangers, drummer steps up and kills it, band becomes legendary.
I agree, but I don't wanna comment to that effect because everything they do is good... bass player is great, guitars, vocals, song writing, killer vocals... nothing they do is less than great
A killer drummer can make a mediocre band sound great just like a bad drummer can ruin a good band. When you have a great drummer with a great band like this- you get this level of awesomeness! NJ keepin' it real!
I dig it, I'd heard some of their older shows and they've really stepped up. Love the heavy reverb on the vocals, it's trippy/disorienting and it works, big dynamics, great sound.

I'm getting like, old af now, and have listened to punk and hardcore bands playing the same riffs and vocals for so long, but with this band its just better. Everyone up there knows exacly what will make the song the best version of itself, then they execute perfectly, and live.

Really enjoy this band.. I'm normally into different styles of music.. I listen to a lot of heavy stuff but more Opeth/Meshuggah style.. this caught my attention and i really dig it. Gel you rock dudes!
got an off topic dumb question equest. been randomly watching over the past few years some of the new school influx of front-girl hardcore bands that have hit the scene (old HC fan myself). Anyway, I saw a video\sound that was amazing on this channel and I haven't ever been able to find it again. Didn't take note to the bands name, all I remember is the lead singer had dreads and was wearing shorts or skirt with tall white socks with strips on them, the kind of strips that go around the leg in the circle, not down the leg\foot. Like old school 90's tall sports socks. Video was of the band playing live to a crowd. Anyway, if that rings a bell to anyone I'd love the link to see it again. Shit was dope.

I can imagine this band opening for Nirvana in 1991, touring with L7 and Babes In Toyland in 1994 ans opening for EyeHateGod/Soilent Green in 1997. This is the kind of band good enough to fit with bands other than punk hardcore bands. Impressive.
