I looked at the American western clothing stores, they are very good, but since I live in Hungary, I don't really dare to order from them. There is a western clothing store in Budapest, but the stock here is more limited
So the most rigorously concise answer to your laundering query is: fades. So the whole thing about holding off on washing is from the world of high end denim/ work wear. With raw and selvedge denim, the cotton is often dyed in the more traditional yarn-dyed method where the dye does not fully penetrate the yarns. Over time, the dye with chip or rub off, creating patterns of wear (fades), which will be distinct to your body and how you wear your clothes (e.g. elbows, crooks of the arm, even outlines of what you wear in your pockets every day). And the longer you go without washing it, the more distinct those fades will be, especially after the first wash. If you're interested in this rabbit hole, buzzwords include: selvedge denim, raw denim, unsanforized, honeycombs, whiskers, slub, nep. Carl Murawski has an excellent YT channel with vids on the topic. Have fun.

Ah, okay. That's making sense. I had no idea the fade can differ dependent on the first wash. Fascinating! Thanks for explaining that!
Another great video, thanks
Thanks so much Luis!
Are there western shirts with button down collars?
I’ve never seen any. Sounds like a new style. “The western oxford”.
Wow the cost though…
100% They’re great shirts but I like to keep my eye out for them to go on sale.
Sponsored?
Nope. RUclips rules say I’d have to disclose it if it were.
Because nothing represents grit like a $200 shirt
😂 And delicate fabric that can’t go in the dryer.
