There is literally nothing political or offensive about this song that we need to learn a lesson from. You just added a picture of German soldiers from WW2. It's literally a song about how great a Christmas tree is because evergreens will always be there no matter the season. If you're associating it with Nazis just because it's German, then maybe you need to learn from history about prejudice and generalizing about entire groups of people.

What exactly seems political in this song ? The time of recording during Nazi times if third Reich?
The pictures from that time ?
Is anything wrong with a song itself from today's point of view ? Is it associated with ...right wing agenda ? Conservative?
Anything weird in the text ? Or in a context of today ?
Just asking to be in context

No. There is nothing about this song. It's literally a song about a fucking tree. It's about the Christmas tree being comforting because evergreens will always be there. It has NOTHING to do with Nazi Germany. The lyrics were written in 1824, and it's bases on an even older folk song. This guy just added a picture of German soldiers during Christmas and the coat of arms of Germany, which is still used today and has nothing to do with the Nazis. I have a beer stein with that eagle crest that I bought in Germany, where Nazi imagery is mostly illegal. It's just a song about a Christmas tree. The uploader seems to think that anything German is Nazi related.
