Hey Pyro, stoked to find you covering WoW lore again. Anyway, you mention Sargeras hounds in the beginning, curious about them being of Fire and Shadow. The hounds draw a parallel to Gorshalach, which is RPG lore but fun to consider. Gorshalach was Sargeras' sentient sword which split in two when he "turned evil." One half, Taeshalach (Flame Rend), is thereafter wielded by Aggramar. The other half, Gorribal (Dark Seether), is wielded by Sargeras. Flame Rend & Dark Seether, Fire and Shadow, the most powerful weapon in the universe when combined. That's just a thought I had when considering these hounds. There's certainly some more significance to this Fire/Shadow dynamic. Anyway, great videos and thank you for the entertainment.
Man, getting one of your videos as a recommendation was the best thing that happened to me, I love lore videos and yours are really fun and interesting, thanks for your time making them!
I'm so worried for Illidan. I'm worried that when the Titans return, with Illidan in tow, that Illidan won't be himself. What if the Titans set their eyes upon Illidan & bound him to their will, as they did with Sargeras. Thusly fulfilling his so-called destiny as a " a champion of the Light".
At the 25:00 mark, when you start talking about that section of Antorus being a titan facility, I couldn't help but notice how similar it is, in style and vibe, to the Halls of Valor.
The bit about Time and Space being entwined at 31:10 and you talking about why they are split reminds me of something: If Space and Time are linked, then what would Time do if it relates to a Non-Euclidean Space? Think about BENDING space and time, then things don't really run that "parallel" anymore and can divert from another. What is the most common thing people imagine when talking about bent time and space? A Black Hole...or, a bit of "Void", perhaps? Also an addendum: You said "Blood" was flowing out with these rivers of red-yellow-ish energy, no? Well, you know what else has this dirty yellow to it? Ichor. What is Ichor classically called? "The Blood of the Gods".
It's interesting how Argus' abilities like Cone of Death look almost identical to the In-Between in the Shadowlands. Maybe there is some connection between Argus and the Devourers?
Yo Pyro. Been watching your videos for a bit. Haven't seen your ultimate theories yet, but I think the titans are trying to literally strip reality of free will. Free will and an uncertain future are not just the antithesis of order, but they stem from Azeroth's raw power of creation. So she's imprisoned and sleeping, while they screw with and order everything that mechanically ties into free will. For example, don't need the Shadowland's judgment if everything is predestined. Justice, mercy, life, none of this is necessary if everything is clockwork.
Your old video about Elunaria and how it's Elune's moon we see from Elunaria was the very first video I saw from you. I'm glad you're back to it again, and I'm very happy it's starting to look like you were right back then. Impressive.
@pyro! dude! It was a big surprise seeing your videos again! I've always loved to play WoW only to visit historical places and check out the story. I don't care about anything else in this game. And you always make it easier for us mortals to make the connections and understand the story. You make them even more fascinating (except your voice impressions... LOL... I'm kidding, I love them!)
One of the plot threads I would like to see (maybe a future saga?) Is how the demons of the Twisting Nether have gotten on without the Legion. Who filled the power vacuum? How has the Legion's collapse affected the other unaligned demon worlds?
A silly observation. 2:30, on the topic of Fire and Shadow making up Fel. In that moment, there is a shadow enemy and a fire enemy that you killed. One is Blue, and the other is Yellow. Which two colors make up Green (Fel)? Blue, and Yellow.
Another interesting image in my minds eye while you were asking 'Does this look like a prison?' was the scene where Sauron is standing over the chasm of Mount Doom after he puts on his ring for the first time
One thing I learned from this video: if you ever develop a game and need 20 different voice actors, you should ask Pyro to do all of them. :) Also, very interesting lore. Thank you!
20:20 cool idea about Eonar and Dreanor only problem is that Dreanor wasn't called Dreanor until the Draenei ( Exiled Ones) crash landed there and started to call it Dreanor (Exile's Refuge). I don't think the native orcs called it anything in particular but the ogres called it Dawgar (the known earth) and the arakkoa called it Rakshar (the Sunstone)
Antoran Champions according to Wowpedia are Doommaidens or winged FEMALE EREDAR. They were first encountered on Argus after the forces from Azeroth invaded the Legion's homeworld following the death of Kil'jaeden. They were also seen in the invasion points and in the Arcatraz. The only known male eredar to have wings is Kil'jaeden. The Eredar are magic-wielders from Antorus. They were bathed in fel magic by Sargeras.
Is it possible that the star map in the Tomb of Sargaras is older than the Star map in Antoras the Burning Throne? I mean, in the sense that no one is updating the star map in ToS, long dead Night Elves rest there. Seeing as the Shadowlands has 2 rings in ToS but 3 rings in ABT.
It's interesting that when Eonar uses Life magic to counteract Argus's Death magic, the residual energy that is left is formulated into Void looking Shadowfiends ( 45:59 ) . I wonder if 'Void' could be just that; an energy that is formed when Life magic is used to do something 'unnatural' in terms of the balance of the cosmos's magical elements, is enacted. A magical abomination. Just spitballing!
I haven't played since early Warlords, but the fact that you're back and the World Soul Saga looks like 'THE THING', I'm actually really excited again! People thought Blizzard was just pissing about for the past 14 years or so.
I hope we get a confirmation of the distinction between Felsworn and Antoran demons in Chronicle 4 since its MoP to Shadowlands. I really like the idea that Antoran are closer to 'devils'. Especially since Sargeras a being of Order, and Devils are more controlled.
@@Vikrampic123 Are you saying Doctor Eonar isn’t outside the box?? Because she just pulled a 16 hour shift in the ER saving grandmothers and she doesn’t need your harassment (This is a dumb joke idk why I’m here.)
I have a very casual interest in the lore, but Argus is literally titled the UNMAKER. That dude is the manifestation of death. I would be casually upset if he didn't use death magic.
@Pyromancer Im sure you may have already seen it but after I watched your old video on Elune I went out and was exploring. In your Elune video you pointed out the discoloration thats happening on the moon and suggested it may be where she has cleansed corruption and Im def with that. Im looking to help support this by telling you about the NPC you fight in the Tomb named Lilyth the Silent..I previously had no idea about anything with this raid or lore of NPCS so im fighting her and I start getting irritated cause this pinkish/purple area keeps silencing me and its like following me around everywhere i run. So I see what the debuff is and its called Desolation of the Moon. Its casted by Lilyth and the spell description for the ability is " casts an astral zone that silences and does shadow damage over time." The color of this silence/damage zone immediately reminded me of the areas on Elune that are different colors, like could this be whats possibly happening with her?? Is something of shadow hurting her and trying to silence her power?
note that the name Draenor (meaning Refuge of Exiles) comes from the Draenei's language, which is derived from Eredun, a demonic language. So I'm not sure about the Eonar/Draenor connection
Wait a minute. Is it already theorized that Sargeras "transformed" all the demon races? If he's manufacturing fel from Argus blood, fire, and shadow, then he must be the originator of demons! All of them would have been mortal races, to whom he offered fel ascension: A chaotic boon that grants incredible power and eternal resurrection via Sargeras' machinery, which ensures an endless army to fight Light and Void! It's not a pretty transformation, but it works.
Looking at the dirty yellow liquid, I wonder if he was attempting to create "Azerite" or testing the properties of it and winding up with fel. I think Sargie was just trying to figure out how Argus interacted with titan blood, creating a powerful fel energy. But what if Argus interacted with Azeroth's blood? Would it be the same? I think him stabbing the world was a hail mary. He wasnt sure exactly what it would produce, but knew it would make something powerful.
Question about the map at Antoran Highcommand and what Pyro said about it. The other map was located in Tomb of Sargeras, right? I think it is possible, if not likely, that the demons under Kiljaedan's command took that map and send it to Highcommand. I'd make sense for an invading army. If that was the case, what event happened in the Shadowlands during that time that cause them to add the rings?
In regards to the 'what makes fel' thing, what if that is the destinction between fel and shadowflame? that fire + shadow = fel / and fire + void = shadowflame. Unless void and shadow really is the same thing, even though you recently mentioned that it sure looks like there is a destinction. I'm just thinking about how warlocks can do the green fire, which to me sure looks like fel.. if it is cannonicly correct that warlocks can wield fel. They already have the ability to make fire and shadow. But if what mentioned above is true that means that warlocks can wield fire, shadow and void magics. given there really is a destinction between shadow and void. That or the green fire quest for locks is just for player looks and nothing else. Or it could be that fire and shadow/void are able to create different types of hybrid magics such as shadowflame and fel using specific amounts of each. Although i feel like shadowflame and fel has very different properties. Whats your thoughts?
Here's what I think: Fel is a waste product, like steam from boiling water or smoke from fire. Any biome or cosmic force can be destabilized or corrupted with chaos. The stronger the chaos, the more 'fel' is created, or the stronger the soul of the corrupted individual is on fire. Burning souls creates 'fel'. The Legion uses soul machines.
when @pyromancer died showing us the sky box on the moon. Did anyone notice the dragon flying away at 13:26? Why is there a dragon there? What kind of dragon is it? i had to play it back at .25 playback speed. So many questions this place brings up.
If you're referring to the gray quality trash item that sold for gold that mentioned "the Maldraxxus" I'm pretty sure this was confirmed to be an error on Blizzards end. Specifically the "the" part.
Blizzard needs a MF dedicated team to fix all of the bugs in WoW, some been broken since Vanilla. Or you WILL lose the people you have brought back into the game. It is ridiculous that each of us that have been playing since Vanilla, roughly 4K each into WoW. Blizzards greed WILL ruin their game if they don't fix their shit. I'm glad you're keeping the excitement and curiosity alive for the lore of this game. Only been seeing negativity about wow/dragonflight after 10.2.5 and I'm bummed out with all the whispering in my ear that this is a hopeless franchise. When there is so much potential
I originally thought that shadow + fire = fel energy. There was mention in-game of shadowfel as being a different substance. And only because of the dogs. One blue, one yellow. I think blue + yellow = green in the color chart.
why are the impression of magni and eonar so on point XD p.s. i swear to god if it turns out that sargeras infused azeroth with argus I'M GONNA LOSE MY FUCKING MIND.

So Fel is shadow and fire, and Shadowflame is fire and..void? Makes sense if you don’t think about it I guess…I appreciate all your videos, have a grand day!
I went to do this on Mythic last night with the Trading Post Sargeras sword equipped on the slight chance maybe there was a secret interaction added. why do you think at the end of the Gul'dan fight in nighthold on mythic why does he go from fel to a fire form can you explain that?
eonar is first because she wasnt captured and weakend and was just waiting for the others to be freed i think
Praise the fel.
It's either void shadow and flame or holy shadow and flame. Fel
Or all four

I know I'm months late, but tyrhold is also known as "Uldorus". Could it be the same type of facility as Antorus?
I just noticed something regarding Aman'thul's physical appearance... I just noticed he has pointy ears... do the other Titans have this feature as well? It seems like he is the only one with it.
Interesting, Reaper from FF has a blue theme, almost the exact color as Argus's blue, then empowered turns the same color red as Argus. Hmmm. Hmmm.
If Zereth Mortis was in the Shadowlands, would Zeret Vitae be in the Emerald Dream? Elunaria could be Zereth Vitae but, in parallel, wouldn't it be in the dream?
So Sargeras is Fire Argus is Shadow, Azeroth is life/light? Fel comes from the combo of Sarg and Argus and Holy Fire from Sarg and Azeroth?
So if the Shadow lands is a celestial body around Azeroth, does that mean that the Shadowlands is NOT the plane of death, but rather an annexed part of it?
The plain of death was shattered by sargeras, and then reordered by titan influence. The shadow lands are way to orderly in a titan fashion
yo why amenthul clothing is like a jig saw puzzle like why is he wearing scraps of clothing instead of titan pantheon armour
Was there a dragon on elunaria?
no mention of the Sha during the Unmaker fight? for shame
they should give better backstory to fel because i think it was made when the story was younger.
I Fel for Pyromancer
i still have macros just for that fight in lfr for each boss, fun times
I dont know man, think you can keep saying it, maybe one day they'll catch on lol
so again, I think chaos magic and fel magic have to be separate. and that was not maldraxxus from eonar that was a life green not a death green.
They are most definitely lying to us what is fel.
I think Pyro is loosing it xD
