- We were unable to head up to the mountains and pick up our new 1978 chevy k10 pickup truck build, so we pull another awesome project into the garage for a major overhaul and start getting an idea of what we want to do with this beautiful car.

😂 heck yeah!
Good fun video. Keep up the good work.
Looking forward to see this build👍😃🇺🇸
A Supper light Grey..with Flake..
This car is beautiful! 😎
All El Camino's are my favorite El Camino.
They are all cool
I'm looking forward to watching you chop this one. Never watched one being chopped. Suicide doors would be a plus. You have the makings of a really cool lead sled. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you
Cool, old school build
Chop top + blower would be sick
I had a '17 T (touring body) roadster with a '50 Ford dash. Sectioned to fit, of course.
That's cool and a good idea
BlackCherry with a Candy Red top would be beautiful on that pimpin!
🤔👍
When I did my old Ford chopped and changed with a 390 3/4 cam four on the Floor . CANDY APPLE RED . As an old body and fender man you do good work 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you. I would like to keep it Ford, but I don't have any Ford parts or engine's laying around
Can’t wait to see this old Ford done.
It's your money and your ride . do what you want to it. I'm just here to enjoy the process and maybe even learn something. Thank you 💪😎👍🇺🇸
Thank you
Here for whatever you decide to do keep up the good work
1:41 that idle beat is sick
That Truck is healthy sounds like it needs a good tune up
This will be a fun build to watch...Thank you for bringing us along...b
This is going to be a fun build!
Awesome video!! Can't wait to see the next one.
Looking forward to the build. There’s no replacement for displacement!
That’s pretty cool looking forward to watching this build I’ve learned a lot already 👍🏻
Im not a vehicle restore/rehab enthusiast........but I have seen "chopped" vehicles and briefly thought, "How'd they do that!?" Well, I'm here to observe. 😂❤ Thanks for taking the time to share the process. ❤
Thanks for watching
Just got my shoebox in the garage, I’ll be watching your chop series taking notes 📝
Awesome. You can send me pictures on our Facebook howlin wolf garage
Your car your choice.
6.2 blown would be awesome
Yes it would be
Well if you need to start from step one again..my car is available for chopping.😊
Kaylie is my spirit animal.❤
Hahaha 😆 she definitely has her funny moments and keeps me in line
You has such tremendous success with doing a paint job for Rory, and it got you many more fans that had no idea how much we like you, that maybe you could do something for Paul at FabRats. He has a cool old wrecker he's finishing and just brought home a '52 Packard from Vice Grip Garage and his son Jace has a unique Dakota. Getting more people a chance to see you and your family is a great way to grow.
That would be awesome to help and do stuff with more youtube people. I'm always available for some more collaborations in the future. Thank you for watching
You going to channel the body O.T.F.?
Probably not but that would be cool
I know where there's a couple of 66 ranchero's next to no rust in California and a 69 rancho next to no rust in California available.
I would like to build a Ranchero sometime
Love to have a ford like that. I have a model a sedan to trade ,but in pcs.
What up Wolfman.
🤜🏽💥🤛🏽🙅🏼♀️💣🤷🏽♂️✌🏽
👍🏽🤙🏾👌🏽🤚🏽😊😎🙋🏽♂️.
Do you attach the wipers on that truck when it rains?
I really try and avoid the rain especially with it being on slicks. But I do have wipers for it and they work great. I should probably keep them in the truck just incase..lol
More rpms
Are you going to sink the front and back glass into the dashes or get glass cut?
Back glass will stay original. Just going to lay the back glass down to match the rest of the chop
@@rockabillychavez awesome can't wait to see this build progress.
Get a 600ci Fred.. lol
Do you really have a clay Smith cam or just a Mr horsepower decal
Just the sticker
My mom sold in 1969 El Camino a few months ago… to a guy name Mike in Kanab… sorry you didn’t get it! She let it go for nothing… I was very sad. But with a 6 month old I didn’t have time to fix it.
I'm sure we will get kaylie her El Camino one of these days. She had one but unfortunately we had to sell it a couple of years ago when times got hard.
Love your channel. I've got a 66chevy long bed fleetside. When I get it here I need to ask you for some help. If that's ok
That's OK. I hope can help
How long will that grinder have it's guard still on?
It lasted about two hours...lol
How much are you planning on chopping brother I'm motivated in chopping mine
We chopped 4 1/2 out of the A pillers The rest was just put to how we like the flow.
@@rockabillychavez Awesome, it's coming along really good. I'm excited to start my own project. I'm very motivated. Thanks for this information man. I hope to see you more future videos you upload of the progress
Put a Ford engine in your ford. 289/302. Great motors 🙏🏼
If I had one and transmission and parts I would. I would rather have a ford in a ford if I can keep it that way
So when are you gonna get mine in?
One day, when I can get a bigger shop..lol
My first instinct is to preserve but in 1955 they would have chopped, channeled, and shaved that car. There's nothing wrong with that tradition.
I like them original and custom. But I bought this one to customize and teach myself new skills.
Small block better
Don't chop it
Don‘t Chou it… build a Shoe Camino or a El Shoebo… that would be nice and no one did it…..
That would be wild for sure
@@rockabillychavez and the Boss need it… so no chance to chop it…⚠️😂😂👑😇😇
Go big or go home.
