Huey Lewis and The News did the music for Back to the Future. He also had a cameo in the first film. He was the guy with the megaphone on the judge panel in the school gym. "Umm, excuse me! I'm afraid you're just too darn loud. Next Please..."
The only thing that I didn't like about Back to the Future Part: 2 was that if old Biff went back in time to give his younger self the Almanac and change the future how come he came back to the same future that he left from?. Shouldn't he have arrived in the new future that he created? That's what always confused me and I bet a lot of other people too.
When he hit him self with his own stick when he came back, (not in the movie but in the extra scene) he disappear almost immediately, but he is been killed.
I don't think he faded because the timeline caught up to him. I think he faded because Marty and Doc got back into the car and left 2015, which finalized Biff's timeline-changing actions in 1955. Until they left with the car, and it remained accessible for Biff, he still existed in the grumpy old man form because he still had a limited time opportunity to go back in the car and undo what he just did. When Marty and Doc left 2015 to return to 1985, Biff lost that chance and his actions were secured. It's the same thing as Marty disappearing in the first movie; he himself had a limited time to fix the mistake he'd made that would erase his existence. Unlike Biff, Marty did change it back so he would be born again because, unlike Biff, Marty had no "alternate form" created by his time-changing actions, so as we all know, Marty would then cease to exist in any form. The events between the two movies are similar. Biff changing 1955 in the second film is like Marty changing 1955 in the first film. Marty & Doc leaving 2015 in the second film is like George alternately deciding not to take Lorraine back at the dance in the first - the changed timelines are then finalized.
As Doc said they have to give Biff the opportunity to return to the time machine and travel back so he wouldn't suspect them to change it and getting the Almanac back. So he left 1955 to return to the original 2015 because he didn't know Marty and Doc where there to prevent things. After leaving the time machine he hit himself with the stick and I always supposed he either died of heart attack from the hard time travel or vanishing because he got wiped out.
The little kid pointing to his crotch has become a pretty well known film mistake. The story behind it, is that the kid needed to go to the bathroom during the scene and he was trying to get the attention of the director. How nobody noticed, and didn't make them shoot another take is a big mystery. You figure they would of had more than one take anyways, even if there wasn't a mistake. I work on commercials for a smaller television market, and we don't have large budgets. Even we have 2-3 takes for every scene we shoot, even if they are all perfect.
One of the only full trilogys I love there's always one or more movies in a trilogy that's not near as good as the others but Back to the Future 1 2 and 3 all hold up
BTTF is my favorite movie of all time. I grew up in the 80s and feel privileged to do so. No internet and no devices, just hanging out, playing with my friends. PC didn't exist. I could go on and on.
Yeah, the only other flaw in the timeline of the films is in the second one: if Marty and Doc can't go back to 2015 to stop Old Biff from stealing the Almanac (because the future would now be an extension of the corrupted timeline) then how the hell did Old Biff drive the DeLorean back to 2015 after giving his younger self the book? Technically, he also shouldn't be able to get back to that version 2015, and Marty and Doc would be stuck without their time machine. :)
This is a rather weak theory, but it's the only possibility I can think of: perhaps Biff's actions in 1955 were not finalized until Doc and Marty left 2015 in the time machine. Until they did that, Biff retained access to the time machine, and therefore was able to undo what he had done at any time. In the deleted scene where he disappears after Doc and Marty take the car back to 1985, I believe that is the indication that Biff's actions were just finalized. And then, after he disappeared, even though we don't see it, perhaps the entire world of 2015 around him would begin to disappear too, since its entire existence would be changed. Another theory: maybe that 2015 was actually the same as the 2015 from Biff's altered timeline. 1985 to 2015 is plenty of time for his horrible world to slowly fall away as he aged and perhaps lost power for reasons we don't know. This is plausible. If it's the first idea, one thing's certain to me: Doc and Marty wouldn't have been stuck in 2015 without their time machine. Instead, they and the entirety of that 2015 would have vanished from existence.
Bro Since Biff didn't make his first bet until 1958, the timeline was the same up until that point. That's where the divergence in the timeline begins. Once Doc and Marty got into the DeLorean with Jennifer, it finalized the alternate timeline. As they get the DeLorean ready you can see Biff struggling to stay alive because the timeline is starting to catch up with him.
@FutureRail Productions - Biff wasn't struggling to stay alive. He was struggling to get his cane out of the car which breaks and he hits himself. That is why he is in pain. The writers set this up so Doc and Marty could find the piece of Biff's broken cane later in the car and they would realize what happened.
Yes, and I believe it's catching up with him because Doc and Marty leaving in the time machine is what's making Biff's changes become a certainty, erasing any chance of undoing them...does this align with what you're saying? Paradoxes are hard to talk about.
They forgot: "Aaaaand Marty McFly, a boy travelling back in time to 1955, using a Gibson ES-345 guitar, that hadnt even been invented back then until 1958!" ... bummer ... :-)

he mentions billy zane, but not elijh wood in café 80's?
Most kids in the 80's thought in 2015 the future would be more like "The Fifth Element" than it actually is today. Its kinda disappointing lol.
Still one of the best Movie Series of all Time!
The Back Ground Score is by Alan Silvestri... He also did the score for Predator and Forest Grump...

Did you know Elijah Wood was in the movie as the little kid in the future telling Marty that using his hands for the video game is like a babies toy

Yes but the deleted scene shows that he does die and disappear. He was struggling to stay alive AND he was in pain from hitting his head.
it's called the bootstrap paradox
