I love that you listen to or technically read your viewers comments and try to make one of them happy. I think it worked well as this piece has made almost everyone but the majorly unamused viewers, very happy. Have you ever thought about doing a project with a fairytale castle in resin? Maybe with a dragon? Just an idea.
Nice job. Two suggestions for the future: 1) Perhaps the second pour of resin could be clear and not blue so it is easier to see the pirate, boat and zombie. 2) Perhaps hollow the neck of the bottle and put a cork in the neck of the bottle, just so it looks more authentic. Overall looks very good though! Enjoyed watching it!
I love your funkiness and your projects are awesome. I've been a member of Audible for several years and think its great you have them as a sponsor. Dan from Detroit USA
Some mistakes, are the best unexpected mistakes. What we see in our head isn't always what we end up in our hands. But an open mind see potential in a disaster! Love your creations!
I love the little snippets of humor you throw in, like when you popped up with tape over your eye and a bandana on your head. It’s just so random and funny to me.
This turned out well. If you try another ship in a bottle project, maybe set the water level a bit higher & take a grinder to it before adding the air (and ship). You could carve out some waves & leave the surface unpolished, or sand the lower areas & leave the higher ones coarse so it gives the appearance of a bit of froth on the waves. I'm not experienced with resin so I'm not sure how it'd look once the fresh resin hits it but in theory it'd work..
When I saw the title, I figured it would be a layer of blue for the water and the rest clear for the sky. If you were willing to spend the time on enough layers, you could do a blue layer, place the figures, do another thin blue layer so the boat and zombie were partially "in the water", then finish with clear for the sky. Thinking about it, you could probably do some interesting pieces by combining multiple different layers and pieces for different effects.
Great project! It seems that you had a small series of accidents that turned out amazing in the end. I really like the bubbly effect at the top of the bottle neck. Hope you and your family are well and happy.
I don't know about anyone else here but I think these videos are sooo satisfying to watch. Funny and entertaining as well. Keep on being awesome, Nick!
Hello Nick. Just came across your RUclips Channel & have to say it is just absolutely amazing the skills you possess. Obviously I am now subscribed and spent three hours this evening looking at various videos you have made and they are absolutely outstanding
You have an awesome personality for Video's...and for anyone that would be in business any where. I love all of your idea's as well, you imagination is magical...keep up the good work.
I thought the bubbles were a nice touch since old timey glass usually has a lot of bubbles in it. The project turned out really good and as always, I loved your video. ♥
Very cute idea! As for the bubbles, old, handblown bottles often had bubbles in the glass. I might have gone a step further and drilled out the mouth of the bottle a bit and put a real cork in the opening. Its GREAT idea!
I really liked this project, it worked out really well. You were right the the resin at the end worked. The old piece of wood was a great selection to the project. I would like to see more pirates in a bottle, if you felt you too wouldn't mind making more. Or how about winter scenes like figure skaters on ice? you can try that on your two part resin look that you wanted to happen with this project. All those things that you kind of wished worked, and didn't quite work only add to your project in the end. Those imperfections are like a beauty mark, simply beautiful. You can go so far as having a little man in a boat with a cabin, this can go on an on. Let your imagination soar!
Fun one! Slow-mo, man the slow-mo! Gotta love it! I like the bubble part, it makes it "funky"! My only comment is that I would have made the sea darker or the sky lighter. the old wood used as a stand is great!
I seen an ad on Instagram yesterday that you can create your own Lego figure and I thought that you and Peter Brown need to create one for yourselves and make something with them
Like some others suggested, I would have added a bit of a lip/ridge to the tip of the bottle then hollowed out some of the opening and added a real cork. The only other thing would be the color, but you mentioned that. Otherwise I love the idea!
I love this! Nick, the way you bring these projects to fruition and your personality and sense of humor is just amazing. I love watching your videos. Please don't stop creating!
Great idea, fantastic result. Congrats on your first sponsor. Have you ever thought of making a planter out of resin with something in it, maybe some flower petals? Great videos, love watching them and you are real inspiration 😁👍
This turned out awesome! I love the cork-less aesthetic and the 3D effect caused by the rounding of the bottle with the relatively large figurines inside. Love love love it! Really cool you took inspiration from a comment too
I think that would have been cool, but very hard to blend the colors without having harsh lines and I guess if you view it from a different angle it would look a little weird :)
That was so awesome! Congratulations on your sponsorship 🎉 I'm surprised that Yorkshire Grit hasn't sponsored you. I love your running gags with them ♥
I really loved this video. What would also be great is if you did something similar with an under the water type theme with sand and corals with fish life. Something towards saving our beautiful oceans.
id LOOOOVVVEEEEE to see a "ship in a bottle" with like a full detail ship. one of those old opnes with the sails and rope and real wood ship.. i havent seen em in a LOONG time but ive always loved those.. And do the blue on the botton like an ocean, then do the rest in as clear as you possibly can clear.. That would be so amazing.. i would buy that off you!!!!
Also... my autistic 7 year old (who has decided he wants to make things with wood!! Grandpa is happily stepping in to help since I'm a single mum and have no experience in this), says you should do a pokemon lego in resin next. Lol just suggestion.
Love love love this project. A good accent for the bottle top would be a cork like stopper with a string / strap around the neck of the bottle. Beautiful as it is though. So artful.
When he said he has a sponsor now my first thought was that it was Yorkshire Grit. They're an obvious sponsor for him. Can't say I'm surprised that it turned out to be Audible however. They sponsor a lot of RUclipsrs.
Make a terminated point epoxy crystal. Set an LED in the bottom with wires peeking out. Put epoxy crystal upside down in a patch of sunny dirt, wires facing towards the sky, Plant tree over the crystal with wires coming up out of the ground. Wait a few years for the tree roots to grow around the epoxy crystal. Would make a cool "gandalf" walking stick when big enough. Just cut a slot in the wood where the wires come out and set a place for a battery! Hard to explain... I've done it with regulars stones and crystals and the walking sticks come out awesome! You should take it to the next level!
Thank you so much for doing this! It means the world that you took my idea and made a video out of it. It turned out beautiful!
Courtnie McNair hey thanks Courtnie , I loved your idea and just had to give it a bash . Hope I did it justice 🤪🤗👍🏽
@Nick Zammeti Audible sponsored this video, in terms paid the material's and your time, Send it to Cournie, I'll pay the shipping
@@nickzammeti If you do a bottle scene again, maybe use white or clear to fake the glass before adding blue?
My thoughts exactly...
Nick Zammeti how about presenting it to her as a gift?
I love that you listen to or technically read your viewers comments and try to make one of them happy. I think it worked well as this piece has made almost everyone but the majorly unamused viewers, very happy.

Dave Blaser I was gonna comment the same thing about the clear resin for the top half
I didn't like the second blue either! Cleas would of been better
I thought both of the same things as he was doing it.
I agree and would've also used an actual boat like the ones in a bottle instead of Legos.
Adding another drop or two of blue would help to differentiate the water and i like the cork in the top idea, to hold the water in, of course!
I love your funkiness and your projects are awesome. I've been a member of Audible for several years and think its great you have them as a sponsor. Dan from Detroit USA
Some of my best ideas have come from viewers. Good on you for listening
Some mistakes, are the best unexpected mistakes. What we see in our head isn't always what we end up in our hands. But an open mind see potential in a disaster! Love your creations!
Continuing the Disney thing, how about doing the Beauty & The Beast Rose?
Mildred Cady Yes!!!
Maybe not a real rose, since it probably wont set well in the resin, but I love that idea!
I love this idea.
YES!!!
Real rose might do well in resin, it's possible to put fresh flora into it (people do it all the time for jewelry). It would be fun to see :)
I love the little snippets of humor you throw in, like when you popped up with tape over your eye and a bandana on your head. It’s just so random and funny to me.

Great stuff. It’s been fun watching videos with my daughter before bed. We do “cool project time” once a week and she loves your stuff, thanks!
You could hollow out the neck and pop a cork in?
Andrew Reilly I agree. I was going to say the same thing.
This would be the final piece it needs...
Yessss
Just what I was thinking as well
My thoughts too! A cork would have really given it that final touch!
It looks great Nick! Might I suggest recasting in clear resin, a bit taller. Then turn it down to bottle and add a wood stopper 😁
When I saw the title, I figured it would be a layer of blue for the water and the rest clear for the sky. I was hoping he would use clear too, to look like glass 😊
My thoughts exactly. Have a clear layer in the front of the figures and light blue behind.
I also thought the ‘sky’ should be clear :)
i would like to have seen clear for the sky..would have made the water pop
There is no sky; Jack and the boat have been pulled under.
Every video I have watched of yours I have enjoyed your creations and your personality. Keep it up!!!
I love these projects, I prefer the film sped up, rather than slow motion.
I liked the slow it was more dramatic
I like the mix!
Hello Nick. Just came across your RUclips Channel & have to say it is just absolutely amazing the skills you possess. Obviously I am now subscribed and spent three hours this evening looking at various videos you have made and they are absolutely outstanding
I think it needs a lid or a cork maybe...
That' what i was thinking putting a cork in it would have made the neck not look so short
Or if u could manipulate the bubbles make it a clear black to look like a night sky
You have an awesome personality for Video's...and for anyone that would be in business any where. I love all of your idea's as well, you imagination is magical...keep up the good work.

Poor Jack must be so sick after all that spinning-
😝
That's really cool. Was hoping for a lip on the bottle and a hole deep enough for a cork. But terrific as is.
Patrick the old guy. Had the same comment 👍👍
Same here. A cork would have really set off the bottle aspect.
I was about to say the same thing!
Same
I thought a cork would enhance the effect too and might remove some of the bubbles but it is a beer bottle shape.
Very cute idea! As for the bubbles, old, handblown bottles often had bubbles in the glass. I might have gone a step further and drilled out the mouth of the bottle a bit and put a real cork in the opening. Its GREAT idea!
Love itttttttt!! Well done on getting a sponsor, I couldn't imagine never reading a book, I'm a proper bookworm! Brilliant project 😀

I love your work mate! You make a subject that
could be boring, really entertaining and funny.
I seen an ad on Instagram yesterday that you can create your own Lego figure and I thought that you and Peter Brown need to create one for yourselves and make something with them
How lucky for me to find your channel. Love your projects and your funny to boot. Stay calm and waffle on.
Like some others suggested, I would have added a bit of a lip/ridge to the tip of the bottle then hollowed out some of the opening and added a real cork. The only other thing would be the color, but you mentioned that. Otherwise I love the idea!
First thing I thought...Maybe a Blue (Rum) bottle..
That is amazing I love ur work and u make my day better after work I always watch ur videos to unwind from the day
8:24 That's a massive Jolly Rancher!
I love this! Nick, the way you bring these projects to fruition and your personality and sense of humor is just amazing. I love watching your videos. Please don't stop creating!

Brilliant!
Congratulations on 200k + subscribers. Awesome project loved it!
YOU SHOULD FIND THE GIRL WHO SUGGESTED IT AND SEND IT TO HER😃😃😃😃😃😃
It was me! I suggested it in his video about changing the logo!
The name of the original video was about making Keychains with a CNC machine
I think that would be awesome
Courtnie McNair did ya get it?
I made keychains before; on a CNC laser! We made thousands of them! It was the Lincoln Electric company logo, on steel, for a family fun day!
wow 200K subscribers! I think It was in the 20, 23k range when I joined. incredible. Congrats on the sponsorship and what a cool vid!
Seeing your tattoo and some of the other paraphernalia on the walls of your one shop, why not a Back to the Future Lego Hourglass?
This turned out awesome! I love the cork-less aesthetic and the 3D effect caused by the rounding of the bottle with the relatively large figurines inside. Love love love it! Really cool you took inspiration from a comment too
I have never done what you're doing, I just find it interesting.
But if I may....
Could of hollow the top about 3/4 " - 1" deep and added a cork
That is awesome, my Grandfather used to make ships in bottles, although not quite in this way lol. I remember watching him make them when I was young.
wish u would've done like a suset sky, orange, reds and yellows to contrast the blue water would be cool and also add in a cork at the top too!
I think that would have been cool, but very hard to blend the colors without having harsh lines and I guess if you view it from a different angle it would look a little weird :)
This project rocked!! Great job on it Nick, and thanks for taking us along for the journey through the project, great story telling!
That was so awesome! Congratulations on your sponsorship 🎉 I'm surprised that Yorkshire Grit hasn't sponsored you. I love your running gags with them ♥
VonDa in Wonderland hahaha yeah me too 🤪🤗👍🏽
This man is so pure and needs to be protected at all costs
Love it. Next time you could do a Star Wars project. Millennium Falcon in resin. Funky
Death star out of resin....
Another ship in a bottle, just this time, a spaceship...
that be cool as hell but hed have to buy the cheap falcon
He could always go the hot wheels route. Their star wars vehicles are pretty on point.
Very cool! I like that you persevered and finished the project, it looks cool
16:30 if you left it with all the scratches then made like a clear little window that would be cool. but looks great awesome job
I really loved this video. What would also be great is if you did something similar with an under the water type theme with sand and corals with fish life.
Something towards saving our beautiful oceans.
Nick, theres always bubbles under the sea. OOH ARRR shiver me timbers.
I LOVE THIS!! And I think that the bubbles at the top are perfect! And I swear, from the second you took it out I could see it!
I just thought of a joke. What kind of dog does Nick Zammeti have?
A Yorkshire Grit terrier!
LOL 🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶

This is the most realistic sponsor shoutout if I’ve seen one 👌🏻😁
If you add a ring sorta shape, it looks like a rum jug. Why's the rum always gone?
What a cool, fun idea. Turned out great and the wood you used by the base is gorgeous
You best start believing in woodturning videos; you're watching one!
Derek Dziobek 😀😂
I love your zaniness, keep up the good work, you are so much fun to watch.
Great vid Nick
Amazing what you can do I love watching your videos they look fab when you finish them
Nick, you know your channel would not be near as popular if you didn’t have such a great accent.
UBWoodman 😂😂
Nick Zammeti seriously I do love your channel!
You have an accent? Never noticed,...huh.
You posted this on my birthday. 😍 Lovely work as always.
add kork plug like in real bottle.
My thoughts as well.. and maybe adding a little lip at the opening as well. Plus it would get rid of some of those bubbles.
Wat I thought to lol
Same thought here! I did think the bubbles were kind of cool, it makes it look sort of like really rough old glass.
*cork
I absolutely love it I’m a pirate of the Caribbean fan so this is up my alley
I love it! What an imagination!! 😃. Stupid question............do you do anything with all the “fluff” that goes flying everywhere??
OR Scrub haha wasn’t mine ! Lol I keep most of the waste
Nick Zammeti you keep all that stringy stuff? what do you do with it?
OR Scrub he has videos where he has made bowls and pots with the shavings. There on his channel.
Becky Jones --shavings!! thank you becky, that’s the word i was thinking of!! newbie here, i’ll hunt them down. thanks again!
It makes good grass for Easter baskets
These LEGO bottle builds are really good you should keep making more of these
Come here for the host..stay for the project👏👏👏
Thank you honey. I love it. Its so beautiful. The only thing i think its missing is a light to make it pop more. Like all your work.
How you remind me of Bobby duke:
#1 you both have some pretty nice beards
#2 you both do wood/resin crafts
#3 you both have simpler senses of humor
They're friends and have mention each a couple of times
I like the bubbles, it makes it look like an old bottle! Nice!
If colin furze and Bobby duke combined, you’d get this channel
I just love the Jack Sparrow character from the movies, and the twist with ship in a bottle awesome on idea, great finished product ⚔️🏴☠️
Also... my autistic 7 year old (who has decided he wants to make things with wood!! Grandpa is happily stepping in to help since I'm a single mum and have no experience in this), says you should do a pokemon lego in resin next. Lol just suggestion.
The bubbles in the neck make it look like an old bottle. I love this.
Almost everyone has been sponsored by audible
Have you? I surly haven't 😂😂
Love love love this project. A good accent for the bottle top would be a cork like stopper with a string / strap around the neck of the bottle. Beautiful as it is though. So artful.
Nearly convinced you only made this channel to advertise Yorkshire Grit because you're closet Yorkish.
Hes the director of a successful telecomms business, I always wondered if the Yorkshire grit was his own thing too :)
When he said he has a sponsor now my first thought was that it was Yorkshire Grit. They're an obvious sponsor for him.
Can't say I'm surprised that it turned out to be Audible however. They sponsor a lot of RUclipsrs.
🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶
Most of the wood turning channels use Y.G.
@@JensWoodworkingThings clearly I was joking. Or at least I thought it was clear. ;)
Jumpin Jack flash man, that looks amazing... NICE work Nick.
Was there a chance of moisture in the lid part? I have this issue casting live flowers which haven’t dried fully, easily heats to boiling tbh
I love the bubbles - great looking project!
@Nick Zammeti. I was wondering if you could do a tardis using wood shaving or something of your own design.
umm🤔
I found this particular classical tune with the speed changes of the turning, very soothing :) thank you :) :) :)
You are exactly like boby duke arts! You should do a collaboration
They are both my favorite crafting type channels, because they add personality and sillyness to their projects
Shout out to audible for being everyone’s first sponsor
13:33 The Lathe turns on and he actually starts what we were waiting for
That is AWESOME!!!!!! Looks fantastic!!!! What a great idea!!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Can you do a project with glow in the dark star's. or something that glows in the dark.
.SC
Awesome project. I do Ships in Bottles so this was a cool different way to do a SIB. Like the stand and can use it for my own SIBs.
You’re Bobby Duke from the nose up !

This one is very cool Nick.i love lego, and this one is great.whoever suggested it was brilliant.
Was that literally a 100 second ad/sponsor in the video lol
I've gotten an hour ad before. So glad I could skip it..
My dad loves your channel because you are so creative😁😀
Video: you'll see what I'm doing later in the video
Title: says what is being made
Thumbnail: showed the project possibly like 3/4 the way done
Love my audible while working in the shop. Perfect under ear protection..
aside from the bubbly end bit. it was perfect. looked really cool. I did not know you could encase legos in resin. that was awesome.
How come you haven’t hit 1 million subs yet? You’re amazing!!!
Looks great and the work you put it to it WOW.
