I think the hard luck bears are a cosmetic overlay of the wolf pack five animatronics, they have similar movements.

@@calliope1868 these where build in 1979, the Wolfpack 5 was originally build in 1978, a updated version was build in 1979 alongside The Hardluck Bears.

I always wondered why billy bob (rock afire) had those weird droopy eyebrows in some early photos, commercials and album covers. I just noticed that early on they must have just re-used Billy Whilber’s mask on Billy Bob
Also another difference that Billy bob had was that his guitar design was slightly changed and he has body turn unlike Billy Wilbur.
Thanks for uploading this! If I had to choose a HLB-Mama, this show seems to be the easiest on the eyes.
@showbizpizzablog unfortunately it's in a storage unit on the grounds collecting dust. They have a picture in the museum and the building it's in still stands but it's a lazer tag thing now. If enough buzz was generated I'd imagine they would get it out, try to restore it and at the very least put it in the museum. I live a few miles from kneobels - it's still awesome but not the same without hlb :(

Really funny, even if it's a giant rip-off of the Country Bear Jamboree. Is the voiceover at the end (telling us not to get it confused with the other show) actually part of it? I can't figure out if that part's a joke or not.

I might be wrong but I think they reused the mech designs from the world pack 6, mama grandbags has queenie’s mech, billy boy has dingo’s mech, billy bill has fats mech, repeat has the wolfman’s mech
i don't believe this, but if we could see them moving in hd, it would be way easier to tell.
they may be from the same time, but there is more characters here than the wolfpack 5.

Are you talking about Mama Want No Honky Tonk around here? From what I know that footage skips a good amount of parts of the tape. The best we have in terms of footage showing the whole show is the video of it playing on the set in Brazil during the 90's, Austrian Animatronics uploaded it with the orignal English version dubbed over the Portuguese version of the show.

This was not at Disney. This show was inspired by Country Bear Jamboree at Disney though. This show was called the Hard Luck Bears and was created by Creative Engineering, the same company that made the Rockafire Explosion for Showbiz Pizza.
