Nam Ra is literally what the science teacher tried to achieve. She is strong, badass, can defend herself yet has self control. In a way he succeeded in what he tried to create. It makes that she would be their leader, she is the only one to act normal while not being fully human.

how was that he wanted to achieve?? His aim was for those bullied ppl unable to defend themselves, She did not fall in that category. She was student president, came from a wealthy family and no one bullied her.

You said you're not trying to say he was trying to help ppl like Nam-ra but simultaneously said he succeeded in what she became. He was trying to help specific ppl, they emphasized this several times throughout and Nam-ra is definitely not the ppl he was trying to help so I'm not sure how you conclude that that's what he wanted to achieve.
The adults failed these kids from the beginning. Had they handled the bullying incidents well... the zombies would have never happened. Lab teach was wrong as hell but still.
I've always wondered whether Gwi-Nam and Eun-Ji are considered different kinds of hambie from Nam-Ra. Maybe this distinction could be explored in Season 2 if there was a difference. Gwi-Nam and Eun-Ji seemed like elite zombies that retained their sentience. Meanwhile, Nam-Ra seemed more like a human that was constantly resisting her zombie urges like Bruce Banner resisting turning into the Hulk, and by the end of the show, has full control of her zombie side.
Nam-Ra seems hesitant to to use her zombie powers because it seems like she believes that she might descend into full uncontrollable zombie rage if she does. It would be interesting to see if they explored that the Teacher was also incorrect in his theory that "it was one's will that prevents one from turning" and we discover that it was something else that kept Gwi-Nam, Eun-Ji and Nam-Ra from completely turning into a mindless zombie.

I think she's a finished product. Both Gwinam and Eunji are led by rage and irrational desires. Namra can do similar things to them but she can control. That makes her more dangerous in a sense because she would look normal when she is not but also would be the key to help everyone.

Nam-ra is the actual main character for real! It went from zombie apocalypse to vampire like creatures and I’m so excited for season two🙌🏻💖

Sincerely hoping for a season 2. The ending was perfect for it. This is a fantastic show and I still can't get over it. I hope all the survivors come out in season 2 and also the police duo. They were all awesome! I really enjoyed your reactions to this show. Hope you do more Kdramas in the future. Kingdom, Mystic Pop up Bar, My Mister and Mr. Sunshine are all great ones.
The director confirm it possible they have a s2 but they not copying on weebtoon they gonna make their own series
the AOUAD director said that there's 2 type of humbie . "immune " ( nam-ra ) and " immortal " ( gwi-nam and eun-ji )

Mijin definitely annoyed me whenever she was being unnecessarily aggressive to the other characters but I do love the comedic relief with the consistency of this character’s #1 concern being getting into college. 😭 She made senior year in Korea sound like Hell on Earth.
When Nam-Ra said 'They're back' I think she meant the other Hombi. She jumped over to go be with them. I have a theory that 'All Of Us Are Dead' is talking about the Hombi. This is their origin story.
Its crazy how Nam-Ra in the show is the Quiet Class Pres. but in Reality the Actress is Hyperactive and such a joyfull person :D
Also a second season is basically confirmed from the director.. he said in an Interview he wants to do something completly different and want to tell the story about the Hambies survival in an Human world in contrast to Human survival in an Zombie World. Also we left with to many questions like what happend to the Professor ?
It all comes down to Netflix but there shouldnt be any issues cause how big of a blast the show was in the world. Cant wait
Respect for your comment about the ferry incident in SK, because a lot of scene in this show that resembles what happen in that incident. I'm not a korean but as a parent that incident really heartbreaking
The guy who said that it’s tradition for Koreans to leave food at the graves of their loved ones- that is part of our tradition, though officially that’s only for parents, grandparents, great grandparents etc. but kids might informally do that for their friends.

Your comprehension to the situation or scenarios was very rational, regarding the military, politics, bullying, and everyone else involved. I would say that every student in the series represents roles when a zombie apocalypse happens, someone will step up as fighters, someone will make a plan to escape, or people who's always skeptic about members of their own, and lastly the pink vest girl, id say she contributed in a way by following orders, not complaining, basically she was just there and she survived. Everyone thinks they will be Suhyeok or Cheongsan when a zombie apocalypse happens but let's be honest, most people will be the pink vest girl. Id like to see more of your reactions in the future, as of now we don't have the same genre but id still give my support ♥️

Omg it really does connect with Sewol Ferry tragedy - realised by ribbons in the fence - in the ferry incident the adults (captain) etc told all the kids to stay out and that’s why so many kids died cause they listened to the adults that abandoned them. There was also a famous teacher like the one in the show who sacrificed herself to help save kids out of the boat.

Season 2 probably will have the Science Teacher as an antagonist, even though he redeemed himself those bitten by full zombies tend to spiral into madness unlike Prez who was bitten by the bully, making her just about a 1/4 zombie, considering his obsession wasn't plucking someone's eye out or smashing phones but instead having the world change, I think that'll be his driving force to cause another zombie outbreak.

I think season 2 is gonna be about humans vs hambies. It's probably gonna have a discrimination theme where humans push out the hambies from their society and basically our main cast has to reason with both sides.

There’s also a theory that the reason they also were surprised is because they saw Lee Cheong-San. Since when the explosion happened he used Gwi-Nam as a shield and we technically didn’t see him die, in other episode they have tricked us with him dying but he hasn’t died. The window scene and the scene where Gwi-Nam threw a knife at him, we mostly though he’d die then but he hasn’t. Plus we didn’t see Cheong-San turn exactly, so many people think that he survived and that he’s also a Hambie. It’s a pretty good theory and I hope the theory is correct, cause he was a quite important character in the series to. Plus when they went back the day after, Nam-ra couldn’t smell anything, and there’s people who think that Cheong-San might of escaped and left the building before they went there. So people think that if there will be a season 2, that Cheong-San will be a hambie with Nam-ra and others.

the directors says S2 is a survival period for the zombies and i think what he mean is HAMBIES. zombie survival is a nice plot

I saw an interview clip. The director said that the 1st season is about the HUMANS' point of view to survive the zombie apocalypse and the 2nd season would be about the ZOMBIES' point of view to survive humans' hunting against them. So I guess Namra, Chungsan, the scientist, and other humbies would be united to survive from the military / police / National Intelligence Service attacks until they find the cure. ( IF there will be the second season )
Since the director tried to bring out the social issues through the show, he may bring out the social disconnection and misdoubts now days. While we should hate the one who CREATED the virus, some of us express the extreme violence against the one who might CARRY the virus.

Where have you seen that? I've only seen where he says it was written with a second season in mind. Only downside would be that they'd have to take the time to make a story on their own since the webtoon it's based off of was all of season 1
He did not say impossible. He does have something like theme in his mind for season 2. Just not sure yet what the results will be.

Cheong san is not dead theres a theory , he used gwi nam as a shield for the flames from the explosion and at the end nam ra said its them and with the humans suprised reactions one of the people like nam ra might be Cheong san. Well we will see in season 2

Hahahaha right!! In thr beginning of the series i always mixed up Wujin and Suhyoek haha! It is wise for the costume designer to not let them wear the same deep green winter jacket uniform or else, i’d get comfused even more haha
I believe there is going to be a season 2. I'm not sure if its confirmed or not, but I heard someone say that season 2 is gonna be geared around the hambies adapting to life within society. I hope that is the case, because I want to see more of it- but who knows.
Also, regarding the girl who keeps complaining about getting into college- it technically is true. You have to do pretty well in school in order to get accepted into university out there. That is why there is a lot of pressure on high school students to do well; which is why there is a high suicide rate among teens.
I really hope you react to the interview by the director, writers and cast too cuz it clears up many things and it's funny honestly
The funny thing with these reactors is that they make 3000 assumptions before the show answer their question literally 1 second later and then they go ''oh'', haha. But they're ok, they invest in their reaction.
I can't wait or season two. I started this and episode 1 was just boring at first. I was like lets try this again. I was glad I did. I figured out I like Asian zombies a lot more than American zombies.

I'm thinking teacher Lee Byoungchan is a hambie and will help making treatments or such because we have group of hambies to experiment on for the treatment, maybe hambies are helping each other. The ending left us hanging like it's an opening our imagination for the "it could be's". The "they're back", some may think she's going to fight bunch of zombies coming for them because they smelled them or group of hambies just got back from their dinner and I hope Cheongsan is one of them 🤧

I want to see the YaBoyRockLee reaction in a 2013 Korean Movie " Miracle in Cell No.7 ", A mentally impaired father along with his daughter 6yrs old, who lives in a run down house. One day, the impaired father is falsely accused of the abduction, murder, and rape of a minor kid, a Police Commissioner's daughter. The police quickly take advantage of his disability and force him to admit to committing the crimes, while ignoring exonerating evidence.

Is it the best zombie show I've seen...NOT even close, but it's not terrible and it was entertaining. Overall, I think the show has potential but it went on for far too long. 8 or 10 eps would have been better, remove some of the long winded romance/love triangles and some of the story threads that lead nowhere. E.g. the pregnant girl had zero purpose, we learnt nothing about the character and frankly she could have been removed and nothing relevant would have changed. Then the strange plotholes and inconsistencies in the writing. E.g. Onjo's dad spraying zombies with the firehose and then when we cut to him reaching the roof the zombies aren't behind him and no explanation was given.
The bully and the girl that he bullied not crossing paths was a bit silly considering that each character's motivation was thrown out the window half way through the show so they were just there with no real purpose. Instead they just had Gwinam keep getting pushed off the roof a hundred times. Why not then have those two be each others downfall. The character motivations and relationships were the weakest elements of the show. The zombies were the best part, whenever the zombies were on screen or someone escaping from them the series shined which is strange to say because you're supposed to care about the human characters you spent so much time with but they were mostly unlikeable. The archery group was so much better

Namra jumped down to get Cheongsan. They are a couple now. Hambie couple. So now Suhyeok & Onjo have little choice but to end up with each other. I suppose Onjo got what she initially wanted after all :)

LOL nah, he was going to let her bite Onjo. That's why he later apologized. What do you mean he couldn't do anything? He could hit her but he liked her and apparently was willing to let Onjo get bitten. We haven't seen them kill a single zombie this entire show so him hitting her wasn't going to kill her. What's worse is his friend, Cheong just sacrificed himself and left Onjo in his care and he was willing to just let her die. It's why I can't like that character, he's been selfish since the outbreak started and putting his feelings for this girl above everyone's safety. Also Cheong-san is definitely coming back at some point because the writer seems to lean into some of the typical YA drama tropes and he's a popular character so even if it's not next season he'll be back later.
