Watching this reminded me of just how damned good this year has been in comparison to recent ones. I’d like to preface this by saying it’s an incredible feeling and such an honor being mentioned by a RUclipsr who I look up to and inspires me like you do. I thought I would put some of my favorite things of the year here. This year I rediscovered my favorite movie ever, Interstellar, which if you haven’t seen it is a beautifully written science fiction about a father and daughter relationship and humanity, it’s visually stunning and uses actual theoretical science for a lot of it and it’s just really good. My favorite tv show is definitely breaking bad because i finally started it this year. It’s amazing so far, in every way. My anime of the has he chainsaw man, every episode was incredible the animation was great and the attention to detail was crazy. My top manga of this year was oyasumi punpun, I read it after watching your video and damn that story hit me in a way not many could, the rawest of feelings of despair and pain and joy and sadness, everywhere at the end of time fucked me up for longer but punpun came close to matching it. Truly a heart wrenching story and one of the only that is currently a contender for my favorite manga, it switches places with berserk a lot for me. My top game is easily Elden Ring, I’ve finished it 4 times, and each ending I got was tied into a story I came up with about the world repeating in a similar way to Groundhog Day and how it affected the psyche of my character as he tried to break the world free of the hold of the Greater Will, which is super convoluted and nerdy but I enjoyed it a lot, and it only added to how much I loved my time with the game. I also fell into the rabbit hole that is the Binding of Isaac, but I won’t go into too much detail about that. In terms of music my band of the year is by far Reign of Kindo, I couldn’t take their music off repeat for the entire year and still can’t, a good song I would recommend is their song Nightingale, it’s very very good. The best of RUclips for me this year is really hard to decide because so many RUclipsrs popped off, markiplier, super eyepatch wolf, you, and the list just goes on and on. This year has been a great one, though I have been slacking in the process of my own videos, being busy with classes and trying to write my own novels and tons of other stuff in my life has gotten me distracted, so I haven’t really put out anything since my first video and have struggled with motivation. I do have some scripts done, I just need to get to the recording and editing and everything, and I’m hoping to finally get doing that soon. It’s been an amazing year and I can’t wait for what comes next, hopefully I can get some of my concepts out in the world and learn to actually organize my time. Nevertheless, your videos have been a great part of the year, and I really loved all of them! Thank you for all you’ve done and made!
