Nice review. I’ve been using this stuff for six months now and it is the best. But a very close and much cheaper alternative is the new Halfords ceramic foam. You just put it on either a hand foam sprayer if you don’t have a foam lance and it pressure washes off like the Gyeon. I’ve tested it alongside the Gyeon and there’s very little difference.
Bar far its best quality is its self cleaning ability. I've been using it for about 6 months now, and I've never known any other product provide self cleaning like this does.
3 months is perhaps a little generous (in my experience anyway) but it's definitely really effective. I've also read that if you go lightly over it after spraying with a wet microfiber and just very quickly spread it around and even it out (we're talking a 5-10 second quick wipe), it improves the performance a little although this may be anecdotal. But I can't imagine it hurts so I've been doing it when I apply Wet Coat and it seems to hold up quite well. It's not the cheapest stuff out there but this is one case where I don't mind spending a couple extra bucks for something that really works, and looks great. I tried Carpro HydrO2 as well and while it looked great, I found the Wet Coat lasted somewhat longer. They're essentially the same price (25 bucks for 100 ml of concentrate that makes 700 ml of product vs 28 bucks for 1L of Wet Coat) so went with Gyeon in this case, though I'm a huge Carpro fan as well.
Can I foam my car and wash and then apply wet coat and rinse as I go then dry? I was hoping I don’t need to ceramic spray after wash and before wet coat. Or do I? Thanks!
I would rinse again after washing, then apply as instructed, less is more and rinse the product off but in an upwards direction to spread well. Jet wash is preferred but a strong jet on the hose will also work. Drying afterwards should be a little easier as the water sheets and beads. This is like a mild SI02 protective barrier. Similar to a ceramic quick detailer but unique in the way it’s applied. I really like it for alloys also!
Been using it for years and for ease of use and protection provided, you cant get better 🤷♂️ Word of note, a little goes a LONG way, too much and it streaks so 2 sprays per panel is more than enough. Can do a full car in minutes for months of protection.
I have used it after bathe plus. I dont know what i did wrong but i rinsed and dried my car, everything is perfect but it rained all week and at the weekend after i washed my car, there were lots of water spots on hood and roof. What do you think about this situation?
It could be down to hard water in your area OR the car/vehicle was too warm! Try using it in the shade or rinsing & drying the vehicle quicker - if water spots carry on coming back use a water spot remover such as Gyeon or Gtechniq Water Spot remover.
I polished all water spots with KC F6 and M3 with medium cut pad. All was gone but 12 hours later they all came back. I think they etched into paint but i don’t know what to do. Have you ever heard about it and what is the solution? Thanks for your response.
@@kadirtas25 Hello, drop our team some photographs at sales@justcarcare.co.uk and we’ll see how we can help! It sounds like they’ve disappeared due to the heat created in the lacquer from polishing it with Koch Chemie & the pad of choice, causing the lacquer to expand. Once it’s cooled it’s contracted back to its original state the spots are still there - send the photos and we’ll see what we can do for you!
I am not sure. All these spray and rinse products are wasting a lot of product. A lot of product just washes away before bonding to the paint. Spray and wipe products are the most efficient.
Have you used wet coat? If so, what do you think? Let us know in the comments section!
This is very good for wheels too. I have been using it on several different sets of wheels for years now.
We absolutely love Gyeon Wet Coat here at Just Car Care! Brilliant product.

To summarize, yes. It works VERY well
Absolutely! Fantastic product that we use on every customers cars when they’re in with us!
Yes it does absolutely…. Use it on all my cars after each was as a top up then a quick coat of ceramic detailer on top!👊
Great combo!

Wet coat is really good. Very impressed so easy to use

Absolutely!

Definitely! It’s very easy to use and can be used on all surfaces which is why we love it so much!

Hi sir, can i use this one a ceramic coated car?
Ofcourse! You can use this on bare, unprotected paint or ceramic coated/waxed /sealed! It’s actually the PERFECT maintenance product for a ceramic.
This vs Mckees 37?
Now that’s a video idea!

In some cases, yes. BUT Gyeon wet coat is super fast and super easy to use, top up and maintained!
