Man, I miss this guy. Among the finest of black American talent ever. I was just a little kid in my secluded seaport hometown then. My parents would bring home the next new hit record by Nat King Cole, And my grandfather was a big fan. At barbecues, he played Nat's too cool music over a pair of big old outdoor box speakers in his front yard while we kids played on the grass lawn. I think America would be exponentially better today if Nat had not departed from us.

I was brought up listening to Nat King Cole's music. I played all his music from my computer for my gran who has dementia. She loves his songs and I think she remembers the words to these songs. I am glad I did this for now I see a smile on her face when he hears his songs. Thanks.

I've often thought that if I could sing like anybody who ever lived, it would't be Sinatra , , , it wouldn't be Pavarotti . . . it would be Nat King Cole. "King" is such an appropriate middle nickname. Nobody had a voice like him.
My God, that voice! I have been listening to him all my life and I never get over how incredibly rare he was as a singer. Perfect pitch, timing, tone and such a warm sound. Just incomparable.

A very nice and Sentimental song. And it is this characterstic that seems to have been lost in today''s song which compared to this are only noise. This song as well as most of the ones by this great Singer make me relax when i hear them.

All of us remember the songs we fell in love to and this great entertainer made more than his share of them. During WW2 sweethearts clung desperately to each other thru letters from far away and his songs kept us going till peace finally came in 1945.
The duet version of Unforgettable with Natalie was the first dance at my wedding in 2000 and I wouldn't have had it any other way.
