One of my all time favorite shows was seeing these guys tear up Call the Office in London Ontario in 97 or 98. Years later I had some friends play Stockholm while on tour and back stage they met some of the guys from the band who upon hearing they were from Canada said they played there all time favorite show in Canada at Call the Office in London Ontario. I dunno if this is worth sharing but I thought it was pretty cool. Fucking love this band.
He's Nicke Andersson (that guy with a cap and shades) and he's still the leader and main song writer of The Hellacopters. He just looks different these days :-) The other/background vocalist guitarist is Dregen and he plays in Backyard Babies.
Definitely epic and grand garage rock but also I'd call it hard rock. Louder, majestic and more powerful than I could have ever imagined. It doesn't matter though, this is epic and something that I should have gotten into in the 90's when I discovered rock and heavy metal.
