In this video, Trini ID discusses how to make a Macrame Towel Holder. This Macrame Towel holder is made using a floral pattern.
The following materials are needed to make this Macrame Towel Holder:
1. 3mm cotton rope
- The 1st rope = 1 x 250 cm (fold in half, the length of the left rope is 100 cm and the length of the right rope is 150 cm)
- The 2nd rope = 1 x 340 cm (fold in half, the length of the left and right ropes are the same = 170 cm)
- The 3rd rope = 1 x 250 cm (fold in half, the length of the left rope is 150 cm and the length of the right rope is 100 cm)
- The 4th rope = 1 x 250 cm (fold in half, the length of the left rope is 100 cm and the length of the right rope is 150 cm)
- The 5th rope = 1 x 340 cm (fold in half, the length of the left and right ropes are the same = 170 cm)
- The 6th rope = 1 x 250 cm (fold in half, the length of the left rope is 150 cm and the length of the right rope is 100 cm)
2. Scissors
3. Wooden ring 6.5 cm = 2 pcs
4. Tapestry needle
The final size of this macrame towel holder is: Width 9.5 cm x Length 34 cm

I got the cord that you said to get and I cut the cords to the length that was in your tutorial and I folded as you instructed.. I even measured everything twice and added a couple of cm just as a precation. But I got to the halway point and only had about 6 inches left of the shorter cord! I was so upset...I ended up having to rip it all out. I wanted to make these for Christmas gifts for my kids. Please tell me, why did this happen? I would still like to do this but I don't know how to make the measurements right so it doesn't happen again.
