Some beautiful shots. I liked the ones best at Abraham Lake. I like a dusting of snow on my mountains shots and that came out great.

Thanks George! I wasn't expecting that snow at all, and I've never seen that color of the water at Abraham Lake before. Definitely worth hanging around an extra day!

AWESOME SERIES. Never had the thought of last time purchasing the parks pass. Got mine a few years back. Although I am not a huge aurora fan, you have some amazing shots. Great series, looking forward to your trip abroad. I spent a lot of time in Europe while I was gainfully employed. There is such a different feel there, between the people and the compacted scenery, it was amazing. I was not taking images when I was traveling around Europe. My job prohibited me from having fun... Have a wonderful trip and post more amazing landscape images.

Thanks so much for encouragement George! I have a Norway video coming out on Sunday and then I'll finally get to the French Alps. Europe was definitely amazing this year!

The snow at Abraham lake would have been caused by upslope conditions with cold air. Typical for the front ranges . Then after the first snow of the season it warms up to a wonderful fall . and yes I do live in the general area.

Thanks for the info, Renuvatos! I was thinking it was kind of unusual because I could see the edge of the storm on the satellite and assumed it would clear out during the early morning, but it just kept snowing. I guess I should have expected it in September, but it caught me by surprise. SO jealous that this is in your backyard!
