What made me uncomfortable as a kid was how the phone number to call was different almost every time the commercial came on. Made me think they were trying to scam old people. What's also weird is that the commercial is segregated, as in there's a version of this where all the clip art and live action footage features purely black people instead of purely white people. Just really weird and unnerving all around.
THANK YOU, when i was like 4 or 5, i used to watch Chloe's closet, paw patrol, and noggin on our TV and these ads would be on in-between episodes, i randomly remembered these and FINALLY found them!
Omg, so when I was like 4 I used to freak out when that freaking, “Grandma can you come out and play?” Came on. It freaked me out. I was so scared. Every night at like 3 o clock when I got up to pee it would be on. So I would just wait in the hallway until it was over. And if it was on while I was in my bed I would hide under my blankets. I obviously don’t do it anymore, but that ad still kinda freaks me out🤣
Think it was on Nickelodeon a few years back. Forget what show was airing but all I know is that I recorded it because of this commercial specifically.
wot wot Indeed, it's some weird shit. The phone number changed EVERY time it came on, so I almost wonder if it was some kind of scam like the fushigi ball back around the late 2000's or if they were just really paranoid about people calling to criticize their "art".
THANK YOU!! I remember seeing this and desperately wanting to upload it. This really deserves more attention.
Ah I remember seeing this ad with my mom awhile back, still makes me weirdly uncomfortable to this day.

I was more afraid at how the number to call on the commercial kept changing constantly, there's no way there wasn't a scam element to it haha
