Tom composed for the piano, never knowing how beautiful his music would sound on classical guitar. How proud I felt when I heard Tom's music recordings on the Olympics. You probably felt it to. I do believe that some of Tom's compositions are not done real justice, when done on the guitar, in rhythmic fashion. "Luiza", comes to mind. Tom did that in his live recordings, nearing the end of his life (a voice wretched with a life time of smoking). Adding extra notes to the melody, to fill in gaps, might be the reason for arrange a piece in free-verse fashion. You play beautifully, possible reflecting a lifetime of practice and love for the instrument. I will study your recordings and learn from you.
