Wanna know something pretty funny? Pikachu has a higher base speed than Dragonite. In (I'm pretty sure) Pokemon Stadium's dex entry, it states "Dragonite can travel the entire world in 16 hours." Assuming this is Dragonite at their max speed, they are going around 2,205 km per hour. Pikachu is somehow able to outspeed this. To be fair, Purugly outspeeds both.
