The perfect chocolate chip cookie is when they have a ton of chocolate chips, (semi-sweet would be my preference) the middle is ooey gooey and super warm, not too underdone, and the outside is perfectly crispy. And with some added sea salt on the top in order to blend the butteryness and the sweetness just right 🤤 heaven 🍪❤️

When I lived in LA my favorite chocolate chip cookie was from Joan's on Third. I highly recommend! (They aren't always warm though.. go earlier in the day to try to catch them when they are warm)

The Bristol farms cookies should have walnuts, not peanuts. They're also my fav. When I bought paderia cookies there would be large holes inside, I wonder if the same thing would happen in Levain cookies since they're larger cookies. Can't wait to try Levain! I've only had the frozen kind.

Tried Bristol Farms "the cookie" today. Not anywhere near the best cookie. Lacked flavor. The cookie is basically melted chocolate chips. It was difficult to hold because there was little else. It was messy to eat. The walnuts were tasteless. The old 7-11 chocolate chip cookie recipe had a better taste.
