You can balance the 3rd leg but unless you can dynamically balance it with voltage monitors it will likely only be balanced for a specific motor size as the draws are different. The more you oversized the idler the better it will be. For stuff without stepper motors and stuff like that they seem to work fine with the generated let “Wild”, besides the normal extra heat and such
