Freeze Protection: Drain Your Sprinklers in Under 2 Minutes.

With a hard freeze coming up, I am draining my sprinklers to avoid having the pipes freeze and burst. It's especially important to insulate/protect the feed side of this (the side where the water comes in) since that will still have water in it after draining, and if that pipe freezes and breaks the only way to shut off the "fountain" is to cut water to the whole house at the main shutoff valve.
This is super easy, and anyone with a screwdriver (or kitchen-knife, in a pinch) can do it. It's just a matter of knowing what 2 valves to open.
