This song is the pride of every Lebanese . Fairuz was even envied and loved by the pop superstar Mireille Mathieu of France. One year after its debut, Habaytak bilsayf became an international hit and the French pop star Jean Francois Michael bought the rights from Fairuz 'husband 'Assi' and sang his famous 'coupable' ♪
While I was playing Fairuz in this Russian music store, the staff wanted to record me.. So I decided to put those songs for you on RUclips. I hope You Like it?

I have performed on LBC when it was the leading TV station for music in the middle east(early 90s) I performed 2 solos on the first quarter tone organ on TL in 1972(I was about 12!)

I agree with you Safaa, this is the masterpiece of the Rahbani Bros! Like Farid El Atrash, The Rahbani Bros, had International Super Stars buy their copy rights. This Gem in particular, was bought by a Famous French singer and became no1 on the International Pop Hits in Europe and it was sang in French(Coupable)!
