    I think DC should give all their movies for him to direct. He really gets the genre.
    Loved all his movies.

      I would love that. It's sad that he won't be directing WW or Aquaman. But he is way too busy to do all that stuff.

    • @Mordor6121512
      @Mordor6121512 9 лет назад +2

      DC are better off without him. The only thing he gets is how to butcher the genre. The man's a one-hit wonder with 300. His movies are "all style, no substance"

    • @timoyr2954
      @timoyr2954 9 лет назад +3

      Mordor6121512 That's a problem with the writers, not him and if you think movies like Man of Steel and especially Watchmen don't have substance, I don't know what you've been smoking. Sucker Punch probably also has some interesting themes in it, but I'm too bothered to watch that shit again.

    • @Mordor6121512
      @Mordor6121512 9 лет назад +1

      Timppa 3 Man of Steel didn't have substance, atleast not as much as I hoped.. I was expecting another Batman Begins-quality movie and instead what I got was just buildings blowing up.. I wouldn't call that substance. And Watchmen was a great comic, unfortunately Snyder ruined the movie with all his fancy slow-mo gimmicks without bothering to pay attention to the more important details like characters.. Snyder may be good at recapturing the look of comics, but he doesn't really get what the comics are about.. He's just another brainless hack with a fascination for things blowing up.

    • @BijoyKeisham
      @BijoyKeisham 9 лет назад +3

      I kinda liked seeing things blow up. Being a god like superhero he is, it was great seeing him in actual action. I'm also kinda glad it wasn't overly dramatic.
      What I really liked about this movie was that it was a great introduction to a shared DC universe. It has a solid and a successful foundation for introducing more DC characters.
      I don't get how some people hated it. If they hated this movie, then they must loathe the original source materials, i.e. the comics and their vast mythos. 😝

    zack snyder is the motherfucking boss. Everyone who directed movies for Marvel has to bow down to Snyder

    • @Seeithere820
      @Seeithere820 9 лет назад

      Synder is good but Marvel has produced very good movies. Marvel has to hire Zack Synder 1 day for 1 of their movies.

    • @jamiemills4195
      @jamiemills4195 9 лет назад

      +Sharraz King That Wont happen. Warner Brothers has given Zack massive ammounts of creative control for the entire DC universe. If he was to go and work for marvel I think DC would be pissed and rightfully so. Zack is a DC man through and through.

    He answered "Film" when asked "film or digital?" but wasn't Man of Steel shot on digital?

    • @jed52
      @jed52 10 лет назад +21

      No, it was shot on film, as Snyder said it would give it a more "epic" feel... which I sort of agree with.

    Ok so the only bit I didn't really get in Man of Steel. Is if there all the same from his planet right. Then how come Russell Crowe wasn't that strong as the others... Or didn't fire lasers eyes from his eyes etc... And how general Zorg or whatever his name was was killed so easily by snapping his head... when you can only kill Superman with kryptonite... Is it b'cos Superman was the first natural birth in yrs or something or what ? lol I probs sound a twat now but hey

    • @xpainpush
      @xpainpush 9 лет назад +3

      You obviously haven't watched the movie... When Zod fought Jor-El (Russell Crowe), it was in planet the Krypton. Krypton is not the same as Earth, Krypton has different atmosphere and stronger gravity so they can't fly, they are basically like humans in their own planet but only far more advance than Earth. Earth's Sun gives Kryptonians power and Krypton's Sun isn't as developed as Earth Sun so they are far weaker in their planet and can't shoot beams. Go watch the movie, you will understand it and like it, maybe love it.

    • @raffreal-diaz2699
      @raffreal-diaz2699 9 лет назад

      Erm I did watch the movie... Just not an avid follower of Superman. So I don't really know everything behind it. So next time someone asks an honest question. No need for the OBVIOUSLY HAVENT watched it shit. Next time I'll do some more research

    • @xpainpush
      @xpainpush 9 лет назад +6

      I wasn't trying to be mean in anyway, you don't have to research it. It's because everything i just said is explained in the movie, you just have to pay attention to the dialogue. Have fun!

      Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto I'll watch it a 2nd time then, and maybe pay more attention lol

      "Earth's sun is younger and brighter than Krypton's was. Your cells have
      drunk in its radiation, strengthening your muscles, your skin, your
      senses. Earth's gravity is weaker, yet its atmosphere is more
      nourishing. You've grown stronger here than I ever could have imagined.
      The only way to know how strong, is to keep testing your limits. "
      - Jor-El Man of Steel

      Harry Nguyen Thor is much better than anything Zack Snyder has out up, barring 300..

    • @harrynguyen2503
      @harrynguyen2503 9 лет назад +15

      if you think thor is a good movie then you seriously have no taste in movies. Watchmen and Man of steel were 100x better than most marvel movies.

  • @JJcomics100
    @JJcomics100 7 лет назад

    yeah he is a hacker if you notice every movie is a variation of 300, all of his fans that he has been recollecting are from 300 they dont even know about dc or watchmen and then they say that his movies are masterpiece, everything looks like an emo teenager has writing the script in his movies, and the fat guys are working in special effects.

    Do people... still like this guy? Im confused... its quite obvious he has nothing but contempt for comic book fans, and thinks his own "edgy" spins on classic story arcs are better then then the originals... this man is a hack.

    • @Acesahn
      @Acesahn 8 лет назад

      His ship has sailed, he's mostly around for show, its Ben Afleck's turn to try.

    • @outkast978
      @outkast978 8 лет назад +7

      lol what exactly is edgy about Man of Steel? He grows up being bullied, alone, not being able to be understood by anyone, yet he dedicates his life to helping mankind.

    • @Acesahn
      @Acesahn 8 лет назад

      IDK, maybe the dark color filter making everything look dreary and Dark Knight, the fact he let his father die for some bull shit point, the fact he dooms the remnants of his homeworld, the fact he kills Zod (while I actually dont care if its "Not Superman" or whatever, its just another gritty scene to the pile) and the complete lack of joy or anything not resembling brooding for a majority of the film. *Takes a deep breath*

    • @outkast978
      @outkast978 8 лет назад +7

      Acesahn
      It's important to note that Snyder made this movie as a response to Watchmen,'s deconstruction of Superheros so it was important to have Superman make moral decisions that make people uncomfortable.
      It was either let the remnants of his people die or let humanity die. He had to choose between the death of an innocent family or Zod.
      He didn't just let his dad die; Johnathon Kent made an explicit sacrifice because he felt Clark was too important to the future but wasn't yet ready to be exposed to the world.
      Did you really just want sanitized guilt free violence? It baffles me because that is pretty much every comic book movie out there.

    • @Acesahn
      @Acesahn 8 лет назад

      Well... yea? Super Man is a hero, so much so he's a bit boring by most peoples tastes. He believes in doing whats right, and being a shining example humanity can look up to and emulate. Dark brooding, and grittiness doesnt fit Superman.

  • @jvanness90

    Zack Snyder may not be as bad as Michael Bay, but he's still awful. He's a terrible storyteller. He has these films with some of the best stories and they just never resonate to me. It usually just comes down to the films being too bombastic with little care of the emotional arc of the characters. I've never been as bored as when I watched Sucker Punch in the cinema. One of the only movies I've ever fallen asleep during.

    he sucks at directing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he ruined superman

    • @brynxxaviar1624
      @brynxxaviar1624 10 лет назад +2

      The movie plot was too rushed, and i dont like the way he directed most of the scenes, If he wanted to make a good superman movie he should have watched smallville , the cartoons,ect and got some idea's from it. I dont think there is much to explain, i dont like his form of directing. I think Joss Whedon could have done a way better job with the DC movies. Thats my opinion and i stand by it.

      If anyone ruined Superman, then its Marvel fanboys, who keep bashing him and can't digest the fact that he is the most iconic superhero.

    • @gammerguy1995
      @gammerguy1995 10 лет назад +1

      really??? unless superman goes all scumbag in the next film than you may say he ruined superman.

    • @callawayd.9852
      @callawayd.9852 10 лет назад +4

      You realize he didn't write the film right? It was written by David Goyar and Christopher Nolan I believe. Snyder had some input. But when it comes to visuals, cinematography, and pulling good performances out of actors, Snyder is a great director. AI wasn't very good, does that mean Spielberg isn't a good director? Hulk wasn't too great, does that mean Ang Lee is a bad director? No, quit being a troll ripping on a man who does one of the hardest jobs in the filmmaking process, shut the hell up, and be happy we live in a world where a Superman movie with this sort of quality can exist.
