A couple of things I want to add: The British never put any effort into anything unless it directly benefited the crown in Britain . If it wasn't for the Indian social activists, the British would have never interfered in any activities which made it easier for them to rule the divided masses. Education in India was only allowed by the British because they needed clerks to work in their offices. Bringing labor from Britain was expensive and tedious. They saw an opportunity to produce cheap clerks for their offices and so they acted on it. Why didn't they build schools in their smaller colonies? Because they would have served no purpose for the British Empire. The abolition of Sati and Education rights were actually just accepted by the British after a few social activists like Raja Ram Mohan Roy (Indian) who was the pioneer for Women's rights in India. People like Tate are so damn ignorant that they don't even feel the need to read a single page of information about anything before speaking their mind. A couple of things I want to add:
The British never put any effort into anything unless it directly benefited the crown in Britain . If it wasn't for the Indian social activists, the British would have never interfered in any activities which made it easier for them to rule the divided masses.
Education in India was only allowed by the British because they needed clerks to work in their offices. Bringing labor from Britain was expensive and tedious. They saw an opportunity to produce cheap clerks for their offices and so they acted on it. Why didn't they build schools in their smaller colonies? Because they would have served no purpose for the British Empire.
The abolition of Sati and Education rights were actually just accepted by the British after a few social activists like Raja Ram Mohan Roy (Indian) who was the pioneer for Women's rights in India.
People like Tate are so damn ignorant that they don't even feel the need to read a single page of information about anything before speaking their mind. It's soo sad to see the kind of 'consumers' who are going around on the internet without a clue of what's going on, blabbering their 'opinions'.
