What I would like to know is who took the photographs. Did she have the camera on a delayed timer as she took up the pose that she wanted.

Certainly in the past, when she made the Bus Riders series for example, Sherman photographed herself, but she will almost certainly now be working with her studio team. It's less significant in the more recent work who actually takes the image. What matters is the subject and composition which will be entirely conceived and directed by Sherman. Thanks for watching The Art Channel.

Y'all deserve a lot more views, but I think that just reflects a distaste for subtlety in general. Understanding for the sake of understanding is highly underrated.
