What cleaning solutions and fill solutions would you recommend for sensitive eyes I have dry eye from lasik and can't tolerate otc drops they exacerbate my dry eye not sure why. I use prp serum drops and have found one ointment I can tolerate so I'm worried about when,I get my sclerals . with the diagnostic lens in office I wore it maybe 15-20 min amd my eyes felt zapped of moisture after ,it made them feel worse and took til the next day to recover . it was lacripure so unbuffered but ive used buffered purilens to try and rinse my eyes in the past and that dried them out as well . any advice would help .thank you . also is there any study on the safety of buffered / unbuffered solutions used long term that you know of

We are not aware of any long-term studies specifically of the effects of buffered or unbuffered saline in scleral lens users. It's always possible there are studies we don't know about out there.

@@osmanreyes4111 Technically this is a contact lens solution designed specifically for filling scleral lenses. However, it's simply saline, so it's safe for eyes. It's not an eyedrop (like a lubricant drop) though.

Hi there, we think it's in the 6-6.5 range.
