so cool with the kids out on the ice. I love that you guys caught a pike and cooked it right up. I'm big into catch and release but the reason we are so careful with our released fish is so we'll have some to eat too. This is teaching those kids right. Great job
Again fishing co hosts with character....those kids were awesome!...Ken Kansas took it to another level with his enthusiasm...hope he is ok ..lactic acid build up and all...the catch and release section of your show is real class...fishing ethics combined with conservation knowledge...those muskie weren't too bad eigther...crappies were sweet and you explained ice safety but why encourage people onto three inches of ice?
man i hate to be a scrouge but it made me queazy looking at the kid hold the first pike the trebles were still in the mouth visible. i mean number one rule is unhook than handle. them pike are known to jump alot and one treble in the hand will ruin a day for sure ive seen it happen many times. but great videos
Last year on first ice ( there was three inches) we felt more stupid than you because there was open water about 100 feet away. And my cousin was on an inch 2 days before lol.

i find it funner to cast for skis then to troll for them just my opinion
Taking the little guys out and teaching them how to fish is what it's all about. There are too many kids obsessed with xbox and ps3.
