An amazing lesson!!! I have never seen such a detailed and high-quality explanation of Forehand. Bravo!!! Dear coach, could you tell us in more detail about grip, how to hold the racket correctly when hitting the Forehand and Backhand.
Thank you for the english subtitles! As a follow-up question- how about the role of folding the arm at the elbow - lower arm acceleration? Some RUclips channels emphasize more the weight transfer and hip rotation, some more the acceleration from the forearm (folding the elbow joint). Is there a right and wrong here?
Hello, I consider my self an amateur player (I don't play tournaments, but I constantly work on my technique). I have a problem with setting foot movement during forehand / backhand switching. I don't understand how much leg distance you need to keep during the game. Often I notice that during the game my stance becomes wide by habit, and therefore I start playing mainly from the backhand and move essentially only by transferring weight from one leg to the other. I try to switch to a narrower stance (slightly more than shoulder width). It became easier to keep up with the ball, easier to transfer the weight for the forehand strike. However, difficulties arise: sometimes it seems that I am not low enough or too close to the table, especially when I play a backhand stroke. I am quite tall (183 cm) and I cannot understand if I need to lower my legs more, or put my legs a bit wider. I know this is a Korean channel mainly, but I consider this channel as my main table tennis learning resource. I have to translate most of the videos using auto translate on RUclips or my phone to capture video subtitles with Google Translate. So I am not even sure if you can read in English or not, but I would be really glad if you give me any advice.
Hi. I want to say thank you to you that you are getting good inspiration from my videos. Although my English is not perfect, I hope my appreciation reaches you. By the way, I'll give you some advice on your question. I hope this helps you. If you send me a video about the part you are struggling with, I can give you more accurate advice, but I will state my opinion based on your comments. In fact, the smaller the stance width, the faster you can move. But as you know, the higher you position, the farther the ball will be from your eye level. In table tennis, it is very important to be at eye level with the ball. It means that if you can hit the ball closer to eye level, you can hit it more accurately. That's the point. The width of the stance where you can move quickly and the height where you can get the ball and eyes close. You said you had trouble with backhand strokes, but I need a detailed explanation of the situation. Whether you're face backspin or topspin. If it is a ball with backspin, you can temporarily widen your stance to hit the ball and then narrow your stance again to continue the rally. If you send me a more detailed explanation or video of your situation, I think I can give you better advice.

Thanks a lot coach , your tutorial is the best , easy to be practiiced. Terima kasih.

Your are the great coach, please subtitle in English language. Terima kasih coach.
English subtitles have been uploaded. Thanks!
Ok terima kasih banyak coach.
