Man, I've not done a run since 2021 and oh my gosh the tech. I love it. Back then everything was already looking so optimized that sub 45 seemed impossible. This is what makes speedrunning awesome. Is there a guide to the current meta somewhere?
Yup, since June my 45:24 record had since been beaten :( But the plan is now to rise and grind and take back #1 once again! Currently the rankings are: 🥇44:59 CaptainEmu 🥈45:02 Austinh2714 🥉45:14 Starfy_99 🏅45:22 me!
Yeah even on PS2, you just have to rank up your profile to I think 2/3 extra squadmates can follow you (again based on rank) during the base game with default classes. You can have AI heros follow you too on PC but it looks wild
All the way back on original xbox I remember they had it. You could use the d-pad to get guys to follow you. Also, in the hanger in space battles, you could request troops to get into your gunship.
