What Happened to JAR JAR BINKS After Order 66 & The Clone Wars? - Star Wars [CANON] (Updated 2021)

  • All the way from before the Clone Wars even kicked off, to the various battlefields of the galaxy and even to the dying days of the war, Jar Jar Binks was known as the clumsy and reckless Representative from Naboo, making mistakes wherever he went. Jar Jar served as a diplomat on many planets and met with various leaders, but ultimately he was known across the Galaxy who gave Chancellor Palpatine the emergency power necessary to end the Republic. But what happened to Jar Jar binks after the Clone Wars ended and Order 66? Lets find out.
Follow me on twitter: / starforceoneyt
    #StarWars #JarJarBinks #TheCloneWars
In the very final stages of the war, after the battle of Coruscant and the rescue of Chancellor Palpatine from Grievous’ ship, Jar Jar immediately made a very dangerous and horrifing decision, but he didn’t yet know it. Binks joined a group of politicians and senators to present Palpatine with a document known as the petition of 2000. This document was drafted only days earlier by a group of senators called the Delegation of 2000, and demanded that since the war was nearing it’s end, Palpatine should give up his emergency powers, which were originally proposed by Jar Jar binks himself, and immediately abolish the position of Moff, which Palpatine had just brought back after hundreds of years of being out of use. As you can imagine, being a member of this delegation of 2000 was ridiculously dangerous for these senators, even though they didn’t know it, as they were basically just handing a kill-list to Palpatine so that he could start eliminating all of his enemies one by one, once he transitioned the Republci to the Galactic empire.
Pretty much all of the members of the Delegation of 2000 were staunchly against continuing the war any longer and most feared for the future of democracy in the Republic… which of course they were correct.
On this list were many famous names, including Padme Amidala who died during the birth of Luke and Leia, Bail Organa who continued on to become a prominent Rebel leader, Mon Mothma who did the same, Meena Tills who was captured and detained, and Nee Alvar who was executed.

Is there a force ability that allows you to see into somebody's soul? Like when you're having a conversation you get to look through the overlapping webs of decisions and intent to get to the core and see what's at the center and learn who they are at their deepest point. I feel like this would help you find allies and enemies a lot faster.

The fallout landing on Jar Jar is super tragic but also super realistic. Watching Attack of the Clones, the situation is clearly more nuanced than just Jar Jar giving emergency powers to Palpatine. First, Jar Jar is left to fill in as Naboo's Senator by Padme, something he really should have never had pushed upon him. Then, he was present where members of the senate as well as the Jedi Council all said giving Palpatine emergency powers would turn the tide of conflict in their favor. Palpatine specifically said that if Padme were here, she would do it. And we see the look on Jar Jar's face as he considers this. Of course he'd do it. He was asked to fill in for her. And then finally, we cut to him calling for Palpatine to get emergency powers which is not only voted for by the rest of the senate, but also cheered and celebrated at the time.
The later revelation of who Palpatine truly was led to basically all of the blame to be shifted onto Jar Jar. Not Palpatine for pulling the strings. Not the Jedi Council for bringing up the idea of emergency powers. Not the Senate for voting for these emergency powers. Jar Jar: the face of that decision. I say it's realistic, because of course they'd want a fall guy to take all the blame rather than spending too much time shifting it around. And who better to take that blame than the bumbling gungan who seems like a fool to everyone? Who would miss him? It's so sad.

It was implied that Jar Jar's role in the Star Wars galaxy universe, was meant to be far more important. But due to backlash from fans on Episode 1, Lucas had to change Jar Jar's role and remove him from actively participating in the story. But people with keen eyes have spotted hints and clues during the first episode, that Jar Jar is a force sensitive. There are even videos on youtube, where they show instances during the first movie, where he is subtly using force powers. Also incompetent people don't survive long on the battlefield. Jar Jar was goofing around during the final fight in the movie, but he was killing droids and avoided danger a lot of times. The army he was commanding even won the fight.
Then he was appointed as a general. Being able to reach all the way to the senate. I don't think anything he did and achieved was done by accident or dumb luck.

When Rey finally defeated the Emporor, Binks was cast into wild space, but he lives on. He will return. The Skywalker bloodline ended with Ben Solo’s death. Fool.
Palpatine was a useful tool, nothing more.
The rule of two must always be upheld... but what if the apprentice does not realize they are an apprentice?
They say Darth Plageius the Wise had the power to keep those he cared for from dying. Power he was eager to pass on, for what greater temptation to the dark is there, than the power to defy death for love and worldly attachment?
Suppose for a moment that Jar Jar succeeded in his goals. That Palpatine died not as a foil to his plans, but as intended. That his words as Palpatine was vanquished were not "Meesa be back" but "Just asa planned".
That an apprentice, unaware of the hand that guided her, learned this very same power that Darth Plageious the Wise so carefully crafted. A power that requires a connection to the Dark, yet would likely only be used by one who thought they were Light. A power unlike that which the jedi would tell you, and that any true, properly trained jedi would recognize the poison of worldly desire and meddling with the will of the Force, that could only propagate in a world where there were none left.
The rule of two must always be upheld. There is always an apprentice, and there is always a master.
And what better way to spread the ultimate manifestation of the Dark soul of mortals, than by passing it off as a miracle of the Light?
Darth Plageius, against all odds, succeeded. A plan spanning centuries, lifetimes, the rise and fall of empires, the deaths of entire cultures. A plan not rooted in base mastery of the self, or material gain, but rooted in an intent to change the very nature and balance of the Force. A plan to darken the force, by spreading the most insidious darkness to that which does not concern itself with secrecy or twos.
The apprentice of Plageous, Palpatine, is dead. Long life their new apprentice... Palpatine.

  • @Dr.Cosmar
    @Dr.Cosmar 2 года назад +15

The rule of two was really JarJar/Plaguis. However, I bet Plaguis, sensing his eminent demise, thought it would be at the hands of JarJar. Fearing this he took Palpatine as an apprentice. Spoke nothing about JarJar, and enforced the rule of two. JarJar...like Sidious, allowed it out of amusement, and also knew fear would be Plaguis' downfall.

7:17 that actually kinda makes sense. Jar Jar seemed to have an instrumental role in creating the empire yet seemed to fall out of power instantly when it was created while Vader, a mysterious powerful someone no one had ever seen before rose.
Makes sense that Jar Jar would be super powerful like palpatine and since the empire was almost always unstable it could provide a valuable way to avoid facing war crimes or prosecution (which is likely death, vader directly killed like 100,000+ people.) and could a good way to rebuild the empire in secret.

    Here's my theory:
Jar Jar is a sith lord, so obviously he went into hiding after another sith lord came into power, so he could orchestrate future conflicts in secret and solitude. During this time he would further strengthen his power in the force.
After the end of the galactic civil war and the fall of the empire, he would trick Sidious into believing he had caused the fall of the new Jedi order run by Luke and Ben solo's fall to the dark side.
He would then give Sidious the idea to clone himself and while he did this, he would organise his own clones, so he wouldn't have to worry about or fear death, and so that he could trial force augmentations to further increase his power in the force, and his dueling skills in case he ever encountered an enemy.
Following the events of TROS, Jar Jar would continue to influence and orchestrate events throughout the galaxy, but more warily due to Palpatine's death, as while Jar Jar was powerful in the force and was more than able to protect himself, Palpatine had fallen so he no longer had a human shield to protect himself from detection in the force by the increasing number of Jedi.
As peace was slowly restored to the galaxy, Jar Jar would begin to see force ghosts of Vader, Palpatine and other sith who had lived throughout his existence. He would soon learn the secret of life after death, and join the other fallen sith in order to more effectively influence the galaxy.
As the galaxy's end drew near, he would contemplate what he had done in his life, and think "Yes, mesa was very bombad sith lord and influencer of the galaxy's history", and fade out of existence.

With the prequel trilogy being so dark, it's easy to forget that comical relief becomes more and more needed. Damn. It's sad that people used jar jar as a scapegoat for the rise of the empire instead of accepting the fact that they all were deceived.

I don’t understand how people blame Jar Jar for the rise of the empire. When he suggests giving Palpatine Emergency Powers, the other senators could have rejected this, but they don’t and cheer for this idea.So it’s likely that if Jar Jar didn’t say it,someone else would have.

Exactly, but most of the public only read the headlines so jar jar took the blame :(

I think Jar Jar is secretly a grey Jedi. That would explain why he dod things that pushed the narrative forward, but only based on actions genuinely made from compassion. If palpatine didnt get emergency powers, the republic could have lost the war or taken even more casualties. His initial exile from the gungan homeland led him to find the chosen one. And lets not forget that Jar Jar was ASKED to help Palpatine get emergency powers. Based on the philosophy of the grey, he is a master
