I used to do whippets, quite a bit actually. I thought they were awesome but over time I realized how dumb they made me and I stopped. I've never gone back to how I used to be sadly
I’ve done whippets. I would do it right off the cracker. It definitely messes up your brain and kill cells instantly. I felt so stupid after a night of whippets. It’s not worth harming yourself for a short high. I’m here if anyone needs to talk. First time watcher here. My grandma’s name was Jean, and it’s awesome seeing her name on the back of your jerseys. Much love ❤
YES!!! This was me and two friends one night and we went through and entire box in the span of like two hours and like you straight out the tiny crackers, we all agreed we felt significantly dumber after that one night and can safely say I regret that much more than stimulants and that’s saying something since those are neuro toxic as heck and fries your dopamine receptors quick, I can safely say at the very least there’s a certain stimulant that shall go unnamed can last me 10-12 hours and I’d deep clean everything in sight although i wouldn’t get sleep and depending how long I’m up I’d hallucinate and it’s absolutely terrifying feeling like something’s out to get you/ seeing and hearing people that aren’t there
I was completely shocked I saw that at my local vape shop. So it’s okay now to just let people get high from not giving their brain cells enough oxygen cause that’s what it is. Like these have always been around but they weren’t popularized and people knew about how bad it was. I mean I vape I’m not really one to talk I’m usually against govt in our personal lives controlling nicotine but this should just be straight up illegal cause it’s that harmful don’t let anyone make money off this. When people had to buy paint cans and c02 canisters to do this it was obvious it was that bad for you but not in a stupid strawberry flavored bottle that’s how they got me on nicotine but this is way worse than that.
I work at a smokeshop in nyc and the amount of people that come in to buy whippits (infused brand more than anything) is insane. I have a customer who comes everyday at 1am to get the 3000g canister (175$) and not even he knows why he buys this shit. More and more people have started buying it and i can genuinely tell the difference it makes. Just dont do it.
I used to do whippets every day during covid… 1) Whippets: when addicted you are dropping money for boxes upon boxes - unless you can obtain a tank (which i do know a few people who have/had one and people have passed away from their lungs freezing) 2) doing too many whippets at one time can literally make you PASS OUT. it cuts off the oxygen to your brain for a few seconds… i’ve seen my friends drop like flies while standing up straight and hitting their heads on counters or the ground. 3) Whippets suck you of vitamin B12 - which is one of the main vitamins you need for energy I stopped doing whippets over a year ago now. I’m not sure what made me stop - I was just tired of feeling like shit. My brain & speech aren’t as sharp as it once was sadly
I hit the ground and got a concussion but was afraid to go to the ER, and I had to play it off like it wasn't a big deal when my gf woke me up because I didn't want to tell her I'd been doing it every day. @@ih8zeo They were huge in the UK from around 2016 to 2020 especially amongst teens/early 20 year olds, any party or street outside a nightclub there would be people with canisters doing/selling balloons. These days you’re viewed as weird if you still do them and you’re over the age of 21, its like an immature thing to do so they are a lot less common now (although obviously some people still do them) Crazy seeing their popularity explode in the US now but it could just be a phase like it was in the UK - it’s a novel party substance so people jump on it but when people realise they’re actually pretty crap for basically a 1 minute high they will probably fall off. Although tik tok wasn’t really a thing back in those days so who knows how the popularity of that will affect it

Keep up the great work would love to see more videos like this!
I had an ex back in 8th grade (maybe 7th? Don’t really remember) that went with her friends to the mall to do whippets. They stole a few cans of Dust off and went into the elevator to huff. She took a few hits and then supposedly started to go blank in the eyes and kinda black out while standing. This apparently happened in the middle of her taking a huff and she “blacked out” still holding the button or lever or whatever and kept spraying it into her mouth. She fully knocked out and bounced her head off the wall and split her head pretty bad. Here’s the best part. Everyone she was with was around 14-15 and high out of their skulls, so predictably, they panicked and ran off. Left her knocked out, in a puddle of blood, inside the elevator. She has zero memory of that entire day and had memory issues from then on. She only knows the details she learned from watching the security footage and what the doctors told her at the hospital. TLDR; this stuff is no joke. Ex gf almost lost her life in a mall elevator cause of little $6 can of gas sold to anybody who wants it.

chat there is a light at the end of the tunnel for everyone going thru addiction, you just have to stand up for yourself. I’m 19, when I was 17 i got addicted to any substance i could do. didn’t matter, i just didn’t want to be sober. i only got out of it cuz i realized that i have a problem. i opened up to my foster parents, voluntarily checked myself into rehab and now, 1,5 years later, im cali sober (medicinal cannabis) and ive never touched any substance again (besides the occasional social alc but also in moderation. i live in europe so i dont have to be 21). moral of the story, if you’re willing to stand up for yourself, hold ur ground and push thru, you can def do it. it is def way more possible than it seems to you right now. take it step by step, and maybe get yourself checked for adhd. untreated, undiagnosed adhd is a big factor and once you get a diagnosis and meds, the meds will balance you out and stop the cravings. no one is coming to save you but you, and you’re always strong enough to save yourself❤
Weed isn't sober, you just replaced one addiction with another. Please don't think the fight is already over, no one would say smoking weed means being sober. Some day, it can get a problem too and you will have to stay far away from it.

End the drug war, open rehab centers, give more funding to educate people on drugs, regulate drugs. The drug war never worked and prohibition never worked
@@raven-chan2071 the issue isn't accessibility. People will get it either way nomatter what and what matters is that it's safer and more regulated than getting it off the street. The issue is if it's not legalized and regulated you're only giving more power to the cartels by creating a hole in the market that they fill which only creates more people getting harmed. Prohibition of alcohol here in the u.s. only helped the mafia, the mafia lost power when they no longer had control over the market.

There's a very low probability of all of that. Nitrous oxide is perfectly safe and lots and lots of people take it occasionally and continue to be perfectly fine.

1) Whippets: when addicted you are dropping money for boxes upon boxes - unless you can obtain a tank (which i do know a few people who have/had one and people have passed away from their lungs freezing)
2) doing too many whippets at one time can literally make you PASS OUT. it cuts off the oxygen to your brain for a few seconds… i’ve seen my friends drop like flies while standing up straight and hitting their heads on counters or the ground.
3) Whippets suck you of vitamin B12 - which is one of the main vitamins you need for energy
I stopped doing whippets over a year ago now. I’m not sure what made me stop - I was just tired of feeling like shit. My brain & speech aren’t as sharp as it once was sadly

The name Nitrus Oxide is already a red flag. That doesn’t even sound safe.
Guys I am drinking dihydrogen monoxide sounds really scary, but it is water
Nitrogen and Oxygen make up 99% of the air you breathe
It sounds like the 2 chemicals that make up the majority of air 😮
@@micah2861Nitrogen and Oxygen on their own are fine dawg, but stuff becomes bad when you mix it.
literally just the scientific name of oxygen and nitrogen combined
Why do humans insist on finding out a million ways to die?! 😢
whippets been a thing for a long ass time. Go to a nickleback concert and theres 40 year old redecks doing whippets in the parking lot.
Reading through the comments I’m starting to see something about “phish” concerts so might do some research on that
@@ih8zeo OH GOD HE BOUTA TO DIVE DEEP
Technically, whippets is even older. Going all the way back to the 1700's with ether parties, where a bunch of rich people would gather and inhale nitrous oxide and diethyl ether. It was at one of the parties that the pain relieving effects of N2O was first noticed.
So yeah, humans have been abusing this stuff for a pretty long time. Even the movie "Little Shop of Horrors" depicts the dentist character abusing nitrous oxide. I believe he also dies from inhaling it.
@@ih8zeoGrateful Dead, phish, string cheese incident all those hippie jam bands where the Parking lots were basically raves everyone selling and filling balloons
@@ih8zeotheres a reason why deadheads and phish fans call it hippie crack.
I remember years ago my brother and cousin couldn't buy a can of whipped cream at Walmart because they had a age restriction on it
Warn and educate is the only thing you can do keep up the good work
i really appreciate you making this video bro.. i dont understand people so quick to use something that can be so dangerous.. you should put videos of how people react to it negatively so it can hit harder.
I forgot about those Gunna videos a few years ago
Bro that shit was hilarious he just went live hit a whippet said slatt and logged off 😂
I ain’t risking my life for being high for a minute, that’s crazy
The only time anybody should even consider doing nitrous is when they’re already on good LSD.
A very kid friendly and honest description of the drug. Genuinely, this is the drug education kids should get when it comes to this substance. Community service type shit
Nitrous oxide was used all the way back in 1844 for getting high which is crazy, also (not trying to promote drug use) if your on a hallucinogen drug like lsd nitrous oxide will make the experience 20x stronger and send you to a different dimension.
Nitrous isn't a psychedelic!! It's an dissociative which works on the same receptors as PCP and ketamine and dextromethorphan
@@Andy101-tm3hztrue but dissociatives increase/enhance the effects of psychedelics. Its quite the experience.
@@Andy101-tm3hz I know that it's a dissociative drug, ive heard though that mixing with lid, shrooms, MDMA or other dissociative drugs makes it stronger and better, kind of like a cherry on top
To be fair if I lived in 1844, I'd probably do nitrous too
Only real time they're worth doing
Whippets has been around for DECADES
If you ever worked in a kitchen you seen the crazy MFs in the back going crazy on the whipped cream cans. Whole can still full of cream but no gas left in it lmao
As someone that only smokes green this sounds new to me, y’all doing the most with these drugs 🫡 and that’s also a sub I fw the info
don’t be hard on yourself!! first time viewer and i’m very impressed. saying ur videos are bad when trying to promote them is only going to make people not want to watch them. no one expects perfection, keep on going u are doing such a good thing by bringing awareness to this. I have people i know who have tried nos and if they knew these were the side effects i doubt they would have tried it. for this series please do the negative effects of coke, it recently has been considered a trending drug and more awareness needs to be brought to it.
A lot of people haven’t seen Steve-O’s documentary. After watching that i never ever wanted to try a whippit
bro im mad regular, from the hood and all at ...i remember watching jackass and seeing steve seeing his change and then he dropped that doc and it opened up to alot of why he was like thet...nigga was drugging himself into a black hole
The only people I've heard that do Nitrous Oxide are Celebrities. Even though its more like a drug for poor people, unlike some other more high class drugs. (I previously said , weed, heroin etc.)
Edit: I dont know a lot about drugs guys!!!
nah i work at a smokeshop and sadly i gotta sell that garabage to regular folks on the daily
Weeds high class?
@@emptycup1704 imagine killing people
@thursdayrainu said that like he’s the one that logs the order for a truckload of them to come to the store lmao
R u gonna give the hourly pay that they needs @thursdayrain
Wow, this video had a lot of really useful info. Great job man!
This is a very informative and well researched video. Good job. Also,
“Parents watch yo damn kids! Damn!” was freaking hilarious.
gang, ur so candid and real, thx for telling these kids the difference between right and wrong
Man this was such a considerate and kind video, I'm lucky enough to not have had any encounters in my life with nitrous but ive seen a lot of coverage of people who have issues with drugs and addiction and it's just nice to see someone who just straight up says "I care about you and I want life to better for you" for people with those struggles
In the '90s they would sell whippets at raves, we called it "hippie crack". A messed up raver dude I knew would drive around with a bigass tank in his car and pull up to your party and try to sell balloons out of his trunk.
To any young teenagers considering using this drug, please take this warning seriously. Although it may not seem as dangerous or illegal as substances like cocaine or heroin, nitrous oxide is incredibly hazardous. Even a single inhale can result in permanent brain damage or, in the worst case, death. While I'm certainly not endorsing the use of fentanyl or any other drug, it's crucial to understand that nitrous oxide can be just as, if not more, dangerous. Please, don't risk your life with this substance.
Those substances have completely different risk profiles. Ket or MD are a better comparsion here.
To add on, It make me extremely nauseous. Its not fun and not worth the risk AT ALL
