Coven is considered one one of the better seasons of AHS; a lot consider it the best season of the series. The cast is iconic, the lore is so interesting, and the horror+humor makes it fun to watch.

Ryan Murphy makes a lot of strange decisions in his work, but setting Coven in New Orleans was genius. The city is arguably one of the main character this season.

Once we’re 1/3 of the way through Freak Show, I think we’re pretty much done with prime AHS and we’re into “hit and miss but mostly miss” territory lol Also I guess this is a hot take but I’d rather be tortured to death than be locked in a box conscious for a century
Such a fun season. Not the best imo, but really enjoyable and a fun ride. I also love that this season is filmed entirely on location in New Orleans. Lange and Bates both won Emmys for this season. At this point in the season, Fiona is my favorite witch, but I also love Marie Laveau.

If she used regular mind control, they'd just go back/know for sure something was up since it's short-term and in certain instances the mind controlled victim is aware of what's going on they just can't do anything in the moment.

The fact that Madame LaLaurie was too extreme even for slave owners really says a lot.
