- The Government has said it will work to minimise the negative aspects of a new high-speed rail link between London and Birmingham as it gives the controversial project the go-ahead.

I don't understand why more people aren't opposed to this. 44billion is a LOT of money to expect from tax payers. And I agree. The money should be used for more police protection, doctors, etc. They have a perfectly fine running train line. Why fix something that's not broken? If people can't understand this, then obviously they're not tax payers. What they say is logical.

OMG! Stop! Stop talking about HS2! It's becoming ridiculous. In general a lot of countries will be happy to build high-speed rail! So I think the talking too much about this makes no sense! It's just my opinion=)
