Very nice, love all the wood. Plenty of storage and counter in the kitchen. Shawn, thank you for working along side Uncle Josh to show the best in this Newmarket Bay Star.
Great to see some class A's and some guest stars in your videos. This one has so much to offer for a great time on the road. Me thinks this one could even rock some plaid on the inside. LoL
Great coach with a great name! Everything is perfect for a couple who occasionally brings along the grandkids! Now you know why I want a 30 foot full Monty with a full legacy package! Quality in my length! Go Gators!
Great video. Very nice motorhome with so many positives. The only thing stopping me from trading in ours is the lack of storage... more so under the floor. Newmar are wonderful on build, fit and finish but suffer on so little storage. That 22K chassis on 30' is awesome. I've got a 24K chassis on 33' and it rides so nice and has tons of CCC. The huge plus is the slides - they don't use the terrible slides that constantly fail.
I absolutely love everything about this newmar! The space when the slides are open, the dash is amazing, the drivetrain and gear ratio is excellent and should be dead reliable, the reading lights even up front for the driver and passenger, the table space on the passenger side, and the storage space. I really like the exterior colors and graphics also. I was surprised at the width in the rear when its open. The only gripe i can come up with is the backs of the dinette are alil low for my liking. This coach is a homerun!
I've looked at a lot of Class A RV videos and I like this model the best. It's the perfect size for a couple to live in after they retire. Shawn and you made a great video.
@@JoshtheRVNerd one never knows. For now we are updating a lovely 2005 Itasca Sunrise, which is such a solid coach. But, in 5 years we might just want something newer... ;-)
Josh, thank you for a great video. We like Newmar, and this is a very nice coach. The 31' length is very appealing in a quality coach. We purchased a 2022 Winnebago Vista and the layouts are very similar. This is obviously a higher end coach with such nice amenities. I dont really like the overhead bed design in this but this is a great coach. I wish our coach had the 24K GVW instead of the 18k and smaller tires. I bet the Newmar really rides nice. Thank you again
Josh, I absolutely love you!!! You make me laugh out loud until I almost piddle myself, even on the crudiest days! You are intelligent, hilarious, and as good looking as the RVs you review. Keep up the awesome 👌👏😎 job!!! 👍💋
Really nice rig. But as you know, Sal the theater seat guy, would like to have recliners instead of the couch. The other thing that would be nice is a washer and dryer hookup.
This one rates 100. Newmar is a great coach. This one would be a great retirement coach for the misses and I. We’ve been retired just before the Covid. But would need napping recliners instead of the sleeper sofa. We would donate the over head bunk to you. Give your assistant a pat on the back for a job well done, you get one also. Keep’m coming laughter and all
I have a 32’ with 208” wheel base. It’s perfect for us and no issues with almost ever gas station. The thing I noticed was the hump between the seats was high. If you old and weak it could be a tripping issue
That's some fantastic insight.. thank you. People don't always consider the forethought you need to have to get something like this thru a fueling station

It's really nice and I really like the Newmar Kountry Star for our next RV. This is really nice gas but hate the floor vents and the driver seat is tight. Oh, and queen bed and the drop-down bed is useless.
@@JoshtheRVNerd Well we bought a 2021 Fleetwood Bounder new last year and had already ordered a replacement mattress before we picked up the RV. To our shock and surprise the stock bed was really very very comfortable, so we kept it and returned the one we ordered.
If you get the chance you should check out newmar's new air coaches. It's one of their high end ultra luxury diesels shrunk down to a 35 foot package. Also the new canyon star front engine diesels include a toy hauler which is the only diesel toy hauler in current production as far as I know.
@@JoshtheRVNerd I'm not sure how much need for it there is these days given the 7.3 ford is pretty comparable to the 6.7 cummins in terms of power. I'd kinda rather see a rear engine gas. Get the storage and quietness going down the road of a pusher without the complexity and expense of a modern diesel. Like they are better than they used to be and make great power but we are a long ways from the bulletproof mechanical cummins of the 80s and 90s and anemic gasoline v8s making like 200 hp.
