I bought gold leaf from Amazon as well as the appropriate glue and acrylic colors and gloss seal for afterwards. Excited to get started.

Amazing art! I have a question. Did you apply the gold leaf while the painting was still a little damp or allowed it to dry completely?
Hi.
It's acrylic paint. It dries in no time. If you feel paint is still wet wait for dry and then apply glue.

Very nice and colour combinations are too good, could you please tell me which varnish you are using for acrylic paint and how is liquitex varnish ,after gold leaf are you applying varnish

I used homemade texture. Plaster of Paris and fevicol with little water mix it untill you get desired consistency like texture. 😊

Thank you so much dear 😍🤗. Apply the glue, only where all you wanted to put gold leaves. If you apply glue everywhere on the canvas this gold leaf will stick all the spaces of canvas. 😊

@@rupss9073 I haven't bought gold leaf and glue from Amazon. I bought it from a art store in Dubai.

They have different brand cheap adhesive also.

@@artebrigade Hi, sorry, I meant what are you sealing the actual gold leaf with? I know it will turn without a sealer so I wanted to be able to use the acrylic paint and leaf but don't want it to turn a year from now. Thank You :)
I don't have specific sealing tool for gold leaf. Using fingers and brush nothing other than this
@@artebrigade I think what @gigitx means is how do u seal the gold leaf, like to maintain acrylic paint on canvas u add varnish or resin etc. What do u do after you've finished with the canvas? The gold leaf will fade in a years time due to natural elements if not sealed (by UV light, by steam if painting hanged in kitchen, etc)
@@londongirl6711 OK.. I don't use any varnish or resin to save the gold leaves. But it' looks still same with my old gold leaf paintings... Use branded gold leaf such as monalisa brands. Vanishing on gold leaf fade the gold leaf effect. I didn't experiment with resin yet.

It's step by step tutorial dear. I use brushes to blend colors in this video. Clear the brush with water before you apply other fresh colors ☺️
