In my experience, I had epidural and have never had back pain. My oldest is 17. Trust me, you won’t even feel the numbing needle, the epidural one was mostly pressure. The relief after the epidural is incomparable to the pain of labour!

Lol… it’s funny when people say some men are scarred after seeing the delivery process, not all men may be and daddy Mia may be one of such men that may not get scarred. My dad is a medical doctor, he was the one that carried out my delivery ie when my mom gave birth to me and I know he delivered our last born as well, I’m not sure of the others. But maybe that’s because he is a professional 😂😂 I wish you safe delivery mama❤❤

Try to do a lot of pumping and freeze. T'will help dad take over, while you catch some zeeez. You both don't have to be awake at the same time at night. Since he has to work in the morning, you guys work it out for him to be on baby duty early night, with a lot of breastmilk available at his disposal, and you take over the latter part of the night, for him to sleep. That's how couples support each other. GOD bless.

Nope, my dear young lady. Not all men are scarred due to childbirth process. Some few men pass out, but, they get better prepared for the next birth. Over here in the diaspora, it is very much encouraged and expected. Please, let your hubby experience whatever he wants to. T'will give him perspective of what women go through. Let him be part of the whole process. That's how he came to the world. Except if it's a cesarean process, it's a different situation. SAFE DELIVERY, IJMN AMEN. GOD BLESS.

Not all women experience long lasting back pain. I've had two epidurals and have not had any back pain.
