Thank you Nurse Jenny, I passed 🎉🎉🎉. Listen up everyone, you must and I repeat you must watch all these videos. I read the Barron’s book once and watched all the videos multiple times. During the exam I swear I could hear her voice. The mnemonics are gems. I took pictures of all her charts and reviewed them over and over. I literally destroyed that test. Good luck everyone and thank you again Nurse Jenny. I would love to see a series about the CMC certification❤
Nurse Jenny, I did it! I did it! I Passed my CCRN today!!!!!!!! I went over all your videos in addition to studying Barron and ACE your CCRN. I found your channel this week and I watched all your videos! It was so helpful. In facts, I became more confident about taking this test. Thank you again!
Thank you Nurse Jenny, I just passed CCRN exam today. More than 5 similar questions from this video was asked in the actual exam. I was lucky to review your video uploads last night. Thank you 😊👍
Thank you Nurse Jenny, I have been watching your videos last week, and binged watched all your videos yesterday for one more time and passed CCRN today😊! You are awesome!
I passed my CCRN several days ago and had reviewed all of your videos prior. Your videos and the actual questions on the test were very similar! The test will only ask you questions on “big” topics. If it can be found in Barron’s Book or any of these videos you will definitely see it on the test!
Thank you Nurse Jenny for this great content! I recently passed my CCRN. I used your videos to recognize the types of questions that would be asked and saw that a lot of it is to recognize what's going on with the patient and knowing when a patient is getting better or worse. I made flashcards from your videos that I reviewed and helped me retain the information. I love the format of your videos!
Thank you @NurseLifeAcademy! I passed on my first try and your study guide was on point. I could hear your lectures in my head while answering the questions.
Thank you so much, Nurse Jenny. I took the exam yesterday and passed with 4 days of total material review. You were a lifesaver. I did 2 days of ~600 questions that I purchased through AACN and then watched your videos. I appreciate you!
I know for certain I passed because of your videos. If i would do it over I’d solely do your videos and understand it so well that I could re teach it! You’re an amazing teacher!!!
Not sure how I exactly found your lecture videos, but I strongly believe they’re one of the main reasons why I passed the exam with less than a week of preparation. Thank you so much!
Thanks so much for these videos. I passed my CCRN today. Your questions and explanations really helped solidify my understanding of core concepts and what to focus on. I really really benefitted from the explanations. Understanding why you do something is so important! Thanks so much!
Thank you so much! I haven’t practiced critical care nursing in years. I yet was able to pass my CCRN yesterday on the first attempt and got a high score using your videos. Nurse Sarah’s videos and Barton’s. I cannot thank you enough for this content.
thank you so much Nurse Jenny! 😊 I just passed my CCRN today! I have reviewed Barron's and AACN contents and questions but your videos really helped me to understand and remember the concepts. I watched all your videos and I learned a lot not just for the CCRN exam but in understanding better what I'm dealing with every shift. ❤
Thank you Nurse Jenny for your videos. I passed the CCRN and CMC exams within a month, with the help of your q&a with rationale videos. Blessings to you!
I passed my CCRN test today!! Your videos were great, and i specifically wanted to thank you on the hemodynamics portion, i finally understood after you went over it. You made things easy to connect and understand. Thanks Nurse Jenny!!!
Thank you Nurse Jenny. I have been studying for the CCRN but 2 weeks ago I was still feeling like something is missing from my studying. I read Barron’s and went over the study cards several times. I find that Barron’s is great!! However, your calm voice and the way you explained things gave me the assurance that am ready the CCRN exam. I listened to all your videos. I did my CCRN exam yesterday and I pass. Yea!! Thank you!!
Thank you nurse Jenny for all of your informational videos. I passed the CCRN using Barron's book and flashcards and watching your videos. You are a great teacher and I love your explanations and charts. So helpful!
Great video! Just a small clarification on Pulsus Paradoxus physiology - breathing in will decrease the intrathoracic pressure which increases venous return. As the right ventricle fills it pushes the IV septum towards the left ventricle which can no longer accommodate as well due to the tamponade, so it causes a left ventricular outflow obstruction which is what ultimately reduces your Systolic BP
Nurse Jenny I take my exam this Friday 🥹! My coworker shared your videos with me and I am so thankful to her. Your videos are awesome. I’ve been utilizing the Barron’s book and I have been using your videos to reinforce what I’ve studied. You do an awesome job at explaining the rationales and then summarizing the topic on a slide. Thank you 🙌🏽. I’ll let you know how I do!
Nurse Jenny I just passed my CCRN 🎉🙌🏽! I was the most terrified of cardiology but that was my best scoring topic. If you guys are planning to take the CCRN, watch all of these videos. The question format is very similar. The ethical/professional questions were the hardest lol.
I was about to ask the same question… I wish all your content were already uploaded my exam is next week and I feel so unprepared 😢. I’ll take what ever you post. Love the way you explain the content
Thank you@@sherlfast6371 I will be posting respiratory a little later today. If you're a week out, I would recommend doing practice questions daily and specifically understanding the rationales. I wish you the best of luck on your exam, let us know how it goes! :)
Highly recommended this review question, they are similar to the AACN sample question. I took my test last Friday and passed the test 1st time with 10 days review.
Great comment, and I totally agree with you!@@jeanw.rateau2756 In cardiogenic shock, positive inotropes may not be quite enough to keep the MAP up and perfusing the vital organs, so you may need to supplement with pressors such as levophed (I guess I shouldn't have listed that one first). Thank you!
Thx for explaining these topics easily. I can't find any other ones though...is there more?? Taking my exam September 1st so would love to listen to them before them. Thx!!!
I think you're referring to question #10 which depicts an unresponsive patient with a palpable pulse, which would make them an "unstable vtach". Be careful not to confuse unresponsiveness with pulselessness! (Yes, you would defibrillate patients in pulseless vtach). Hope that helps!

Of course, thank you for your support I will have new videos about every week or so. You can subscribe to be notified of new videos dropping. Thanks!
In cardiogenic shock svr is high. You said treat with vaspressor. I would choose diuretic, betablocker and positive inotrop like dobutamine

Does anyone know if these questions in the video are similar to the ones on the actual CCRN exam? Thanks!
I did my ACNP Board exam and found these series very helpgul.
Please do you have any online classes for the CCRN. I want to join so I can take my exam in December.
Hi, I unfortunately do not have any online classes for this material. I am hoping to get all the systems content out by December though.
Hey Jenny I was told that for pulseless vtach we defibrillate . Can you explain why cardio version would be the answer ? Thank you
I think you're referring to question #10 which depicts an unresponsive patient with a palpable pulse, which would make them an "unstable vtach". Be careful not to confuse unresponsiveness with pulselessness! (Yes, you would defibrillate patients in pulseless vtach). Hope that helps!
@NurseLifeAcademy was just coming to say this glad I checked before posting lol
are there this many medication questions in the CCRN exam? I was told that there wasn't.
There's no set amount of medication questions but they are certainly incorporated into questions and/or answer choices!
Do you happen to have a guide of all your questions together and mixed up?
I do not at this time, just the videos!
Can you please do one for CMSRN- med-surg nurses.
Can you go over the table and break it down?
